The Brightest Star Ep 2 >> Outfits.
gabediaries:
from the other male’s demeanor and response, gabe already knew he wasn’t going to like him. entitled alphas are always the ones that make gabe really hate the whole pack dynamics. even though there was nothing he could do to change that, his bold attitude wasn’t going to change no matter who they were. scoffing at the male’s response, gabe rolled his eyes, “omega? you know, we do have names,” clearly the alpha probably wasn’t in the mood to argue, but gabe really didn’t care, “do i look like a barmaid to you? you’re capable of getting it yourself.”
The Alpha scoffed at him, crossing his arms. Okay. Maybe he shouldn’t take it out on this omega, it was hard not to honestly. “Sorry...” He mumbled softly as he scratched the back of his neck slowly. “I’ve just had a really bad day. A deer almost killed me on a hunt.”
so tao decided to share this [x]
makanixparata:
It was easy to forget that Morgan was an Alpha, given that he had a smaller stature than most - females often were, and Morgan had been born one - and he was far kinder than most Alphas, so he could only smile at the other’s soft words. “There is no time limit on grief.” Even he, a year later, was still in mourning. He hadn’t even let anyone else into his bed, afraid that doing so would tarnish his memory of his husband, insult the relationship they once shared. “We just have to do the best we can do.” His words were spoken with a heavy breath, barrel-like chest swelling with an intake of air as he slowly shook his head. “You don’t have to rush yourself.”
He clutched at his chest as he was almost breathless as he felt anger and sorrow well up in him again. “But I want this void to go. I can’t stand it any longer and I feel like it’s going to eventually swallow me up whole.” He trembled for a moment before he shook his head. “I-I’m sorry, Makani... I’m probably boring you about all this.”
alphabolin:
“Don’t worry, I don’t want you to bleed,” Bolin said as he put an arm around Zi’s hip to hold him up. He leaned in and pecked his cheek. “Let’s get you to get some rest. We can worry about my promise when that has healed up.” He sighed as he started out of the office, helping his fellow hunter walk along the way. “Next time attack a stag like that with someone else to help you. I could have helped take it down.”
“I can still give you a blowjob though.” He told him with confidence before he slowly began to walk towards his hut. Each walk giving him pain that he winced from. This was pathetic for him. How could he have been so careless? “I could have easily taken it down. I let my mind wander for a split second and it almost cost me my life.”
makanixparata:
There wasn’t much that Makani could say in that moment, really. How could he, when anything he says would be hypocritical? He still lied awake at night, the bed feeling too empty without Morgan residing there, and it always gave a twinge in his heart when he looked at Logan and saw Morgan’s smile, or he looked at Hailey and saw his eyes… “Your brothers can’t rush the grieving process,” was all Makani could say as he gave the other another reassuring squeeze. “And they can’t tell you what you like. You favor Alphas. I respect that. I understand that… I married one myself, you know.”
He had almost forgotten that the other had children of his own. It made Zi Feng’s heart swell, mostly out of ache. “Oh yeah.” He had forgotten that Morgan was an alpha and it made him leave out a gentle sigh. “I shouldn’t still be grieving... it’s been almost two years.” He slowly sat up from the bed with a small wince. “But-- No matter how many holes I fill or how many times my own gets filled--- there is an emptiness. Like a void within my being.”
gabediaries:
after a nice run through the woods, gabe desperately needed a refreshing drink. however, once he entered the tarvern, he didn’t realize how packed it be. gabe groaned slightly, as he wasn’t the biggest fan of crowded areas nor the shouts of drunken pack members ringing in his ear. he tried his best to find the most isolated, away from most of the pack. he sat down and called over for a drink. his body ached and reeked of sweat, mostly since he hadn’t had a nice workout in forever. before he even got his drink, another figure plopped himself on the seat right next to gabe. he couldn’t believe it, as he glared at the other male without even telling who it was, “–all these empty chairs and you choose this one? do you mind?”
He had had a long LONG day and he just wanted to relax and drown his sorrows and thoughts in some good ale. Plus, the barmaids were easily on the eyes so that was a plus. His side was hurting from the wound sustained from a hunt, he was pissy from feeling the emptiness that wouldn’t end ever since his mate died. Sometimes he didn’t really like being around other rowdy alphas and just wanted to spend some time away from them. That meant, having to sit beside an omega. He didn’t mind an omega’s company that night but when the glare was given to him, a low growl that came from his stomach. “I can choose anywhere I sit, omega.” An Alpha gaze moved over to him as he leaned into him with another low growl. “Get me a drink.”
alphabolin:
“Oh, I can keep those promises, babe,” Bolin said with a chuckle. He moved around to stand by Zi’s head, watching them patch the wolf up. When they were done he put his hands on the other’s shoulders and gently rubbed them. “How about we get you back to your place and I will bring some ale over to keep you company? Maybe I can make good on that promise when you’re feeling better,” he teased before letting go of Zi’s shoulders and stepping back. “Can you walk or should I carry you again?”
He hummed at the words. The gently rubbing to his shoulders made him lean into the touch and he slowly sat up. “You’ll just make me bleed more; open that wound back up..” He licked his lips slowly before standing up but instantly leaning on him. “I can walk but you have to let me lean on your shoulder.” He told him honestly.
omegaiseul:
Just because Iseul was physically at work, doesn’t mean he was actually working. Instead the omega had taken to what he had deemed ‘the comfy’ seat, and was doing his very best to pretend like he wasn’t surrounded by primarily loud intoxicated wolves. “Aish, it’s so loud, I’m trying to work here.” He mumbled, keeping his eyes closed; making absolutely no attempt to work. Even when he felt a presence nearby he didn’t budge, however a deep sigh escaped his lips. “If you need a drink come back in ten minutes.”
Zi Feng wasn’t one to frequent the tavern. He was usually spending his time trying to come up with better strategies on how to hunt. It was incredibly loud, he had to agree. He had only had one drink so far and he found it amusing that this omega wasn’t doing his job. “You don’t seem like you are working at all.” He mused, leaning his head to the side some. “You could just walk out for the night if it’s too loud for you.”
makanixparata:
Though Makani was a large presence in the small room, he didn’t move away from Zi’s side as the doctors worked tirelessly to fix him, holding his hand as they had to work around his brawn. And even after they finished and Zi rested comfortably on an infirmary bed, he still stood by his side until he heard him speak up. “I told you that it wasn’t the same with Alon,” Makani spoke, reaching over to give Zi’s hand a firm squeeze. “You’re alive, Zi… The wound wasn’t as bad as we thought.” It was still bad, certainly… critical, but not life-threatening. And he was glad… It certainly wouldn’t look good if he lost another wolf on his watch.
A hand came to rest on the linen bandages, his lips pulling together to form a thin line. He slowly sat up, his hand squeezing the others in return. “We would have had pups by now, you know. His best friend was willing to provide them for us...” His voice saddened and he ran a hand through his hair. “I’m such a fucking mess.” He couldn’t look at Makani, shaking his head slowly. “My brothers keep telling me to settle down with a nice omega.” He scoffed. He wasn’t really fond of Omegas thanks to his omega brothers. But he did find some that he liked to hang out with, occasionally fuck. “But--- I can’t forget him. I won’t.”
alphabolin:
“If I wanted to grab your ass I wouldn’t need an excuse to,” Bolin said with a chuckle. He chuckled as he ran with the other alpha in his arms. “You know if I left you to die then grabbing your ass is the only thing I could have done to it. Til I’ve been inside, you’re not dying on my watch,” the words flowed out as he slowed to a stop outside of the doctor’s shop. Pushing through the door he called out for a nurse to come help them. Setting the hunter down he sighed as he looked over his body. “You’re lucky that antler didn’t go deeper, my friend.”
“I’m sure the blood is hiding my blush, Bolin.” He whispered before a small chuckle came from him. But damn, did that chuckle hurt. “Don’t make promises you won’t keep.” He told him as he was laid down onto the bed. Yet a frown was present on the smaller wolf’s lips as he said the antlers didn’t go too deep. “Lucky me, I suppose.” He bit down on his bottom lip to prevent from screaming out as they poked and treated the wound. After they were done, they bandaged him up. “Fuck.” Zi Feng cursed out.”I need a drink...”
makanixparata:
The trees and greenery were all a blur as Makani rushed to the village, focusing on making sure that he would get him there as quickly as possible. The injury didn’t seem to be nearly as bad as the one Morgan had suffered at the hands of a wild boar, but it was still bad enough to warrant urgency. But when Zi spoke about Alon, it had Makani lifted his gaze down to the wolf in his arms for a moment. The death of Alon wasn’t one he had been there for - as the hunters often went in groups that traveled in different directions to bring better results - but it was one he had heard about. And it was one that caused him pain, too - not the same as with Morgan, as he felt guilty that he couldn’t do anything to help him, but pain over not being there with him at the end. “Not the same as Alon, Zi… You’ll live,” he spoke just as they reached the village, and as he tried to transfer the injured hunter to the other wolves, Zi clung onto him tightly and whispered those words. “I’ll be right with you the entire time.” With a nod, he followed the doctors into the infirmary and sat Zi on a table, only to hold his hand as the doctors began to oversee his wounds.
He felt a sense of relief wash over him when he said he wouldn’t leave his side. At a time like this; one that just seemed to surface painful memories; he didn’t like to be alone. He was alone all the time, having not sought out another mate since Alon. How could he? Alon was his world, the man he cherished. He was in and out of consciousness as they worked on him before they finally patched him up almost forty minutes later. Zi Feng was still asleep when they finished and his eyes didn’t flutter open until an hour after they finished. “Fuck. I’m still alive?”
alphabolin:
Bolin watched the entire thing go down as he shifted back into human form. Running up to the other he put a hand above the wound. “You will bleed out before he gets here, I need to get you to the doc,” he said as he moved to scoop the male up in his arms. “Don’t move too much and put pressure on it, won’t you?” he asked with a chuckle. He knew that the wound was going to be just fine, but making it more dramatic seemed more fun. He started to run towards the way back to town as fast as he could.
He growled softly as he tried to make it so dramatic but he didn’t protest when he was picked up by the other. “You-You just want to grab my ass.” He teased before a groan left him, gripping onto the wound tightly. “You should just let me die...” He let out an exhausted sigh.
makanixparata:
The hunting party all gathered around the injured wolf, muttering a few whispers, before Makani turned to them. “Go and collect the kills and bring them back to the meat cooler! And someone inform the doctor that we’ll be on our way!” he ordered, using a deep timbre of his voice to signify the importance and they quickly nodded before they did as they were told. Turning his attention back to Zi, he moved to examine his wound, only to see it - it was eerily similar to the one that had taken away his mate just a year prior, and it had him swallow the thick lump in his throat. No. He wasn’t going to let another die. “You’re not dying today, Zi,” Makani spoke, sliding his thick arms underneath Zi’s body, lifting him up and off the ground before he began to sprint in the direction of the village. It didn’t matter that they were both naked, covered in blood - what mattered was making sure that Zi didn’t meet the same fate that his Morgan had.
Honestly, he would have been fine to be taken away from this world and into the other. Perhaps then he could see Alon again. A loud groan left the smaller alpha as he was pulled into the larger one's arms. Damn. He was so built, if Zi Feng wasn’t in pain and almost dying, he would be drooling. An arm wrapped around his shoulders as the other hand rested on the wound. Honestly, he really didn’t care about being naked, if he could; he’d be naked all the time. His arm tightened around him as the pain shot through his body. “W-What are the fate’s odds that--- that I would be injured the same as Alon...” He whispered to him.
When they got to the village, the doctors grabbed him but the smaller wolf continued to hold onto him. “D-Don’t leave me, Makani..”
makanixparata:
Injuries were something that happened often on a hunt - most of the time they were superficial, and nothing serious, but there were those times when they were life-threatening or even fatal. So when he heard word that one of his wolves had been injured, he began to make his way through the throngs of people, blood smeared against his chin and fingers from where he had made his kill. “Move!” he called, moving people out of the way until he looked at the fallen hunter. “Can you walk?” Makani asked, a sense of urgency in his tone - he wasn’t going to let another die. Not on his watch. Eyes scanned his frame, trying to gauge how injured he might be. “If not, I’ll carry you back to the village.”
WAS he really going to go out like his beloved Alon? How long has it been since his death? How long has he grieved for him? HE heard Makani’s voice and he felt like shit. Of course, he would be the one to be hurt. He was probably one of the SMALLEST of the pack but he made his small frame up with agility. He slowly tried to make his way up off the ground, his side torn open and bleeding. YET his hands faltered and he collapsed back onto the ground. “S-Shit...” He cursed out. “Just leave me here, Makani...” Zi Feng protested as he managed to roll onto his back. “Let the earth take me into her embrace.”

alphacurtis:
“Saw you down by the river earlier,” the alpha remarked with a playful grin once the others had left the table. “Quite a show you put on.” At the time, his guard duties all but left his concern once he noticed the other frolicking in the water nude.
open.
WAS this guy talking to him? The alpha looked over at the other alpha before a small smirk came across his lips. A small SCOFF left him as he took the last bite of his food. “I can’t deny that I sometimes like to enjoy the water after a hunt. And you were watching me? Did you like what you have seen?”
