There weren’t many nights off with the Guard’s duty. Sure, they had enough men, they had every inch of their territory covered, but Andrew liked being alert. Even when he wasn’t actively on duty, he was there. That was why it was so odd for him to be seen in the tavern, drinking a goblet of wine. His first one for the night, granted, but still it was wine. “Oh, no, no, feel free to sit there, I’m not waiting for anyone.” he smiled at the person who ever so clearly wasn’t sure if they should take the seat or not. Andrew wasn’t drunk, nor was that his intention, he simply needed his muscles to relax a little and his mind to wander away from everything. “Can I get you something? Wine here is really good. I mean I’m sure you’ve had it before, but—- You know what I mean.” he chuckled.
Iseul chuckled at the offer to sit, glancing over his shoulder towards the door that lead to the back of the tavern where his boss often worked. “As nice as that would be, I actually came over to wipe the table down, I didn’t get a chance to before you sat down earlier.” The omega mused. “The baby alpha would get mad if he saw me slacking off again.” Iseul continued, not that, that fact had ever stopped him before; by this point he was almost infamous for doing anything but his job. “The wine is really good, I’ll give you a little tip though, the new mead is even better. It was made with the peaches in the orchard, after you finish up you should try some.”
