“Honest question here, can you hear yourself when you speak?”
“Well, I didn’t mean to burn down the building but it was ugly and needed to be burnt.”
“Nice going, idiot.”
“Right? Sometimes it impresses me as well.”
“When did you find out you were this funny? I hope it wasn’t a while ago.”
“Many times,” he said ignoring the obvious sarcasm in her voice.
“I’m so glad you have such truthful friends.”
“Actually, I’d say you lie a lot, Alex.”
“I never lie, Noah. I always tell the whole truth. There’s absolutely no point in lying.”
“We’re stuck in the same cabin so I would think that at least you would try to be civil.”
“Well, obviously you thought wrong. I am not civil. I thought you would have known that by now.”
“I don’t believe you.”
“Why not? When have I ever not told the truth, darling brother.”
“Do you really think I would care if your bed was trashed, Morgan? If my bed gets trashed, I’ll deal with it instead of complaining.”
‘It was just italian, I didn’t know someone was actually listening to me. I have this habit, I talk to myself sometimes. Damn, I’m a creep.’
“You’re right. It is creepy. What did you say?”
“Wow. Has anyone ever told you just how funny you are?”
‘che diavolo è questo…’, he said, while looking around. he was lost in a place where people seemed like they’ve been out of the ‘troy’ movie. so his father is a god, damn. this is unusual. he sat in the front of the cabin 11, watching the other campers. everything there seemed so different, everything was different now. the gods exist.
“Excuse me?” Alex asked, turning to face the other, a scowl on her face. “What did you just say?”
“That’s bullshit.”
“No, it’s the complete truth.”
“And I couldn’t care less that you’re being annoying brat.”
“Good. I don’t want, or need you to care. I’m fine with being an annoying brat. Why you would ever think otherwise, I don’t know.”
“Honestly, I couldn’t care less about what you’re trying to tell me.”
