lol!
The sun was shining brilliantly, and it was a long while before he could bear it. When he could, he saw all round him a sea of dark green, ruffled here and there by the breeze; and there were everywhere hundreds of butterflies.
“Then something Tookish woke up inside him, and he wished to go and see the great mountains, and hear the pine-trees and the waterfalls, and explore the caves, and wear a sword instead of a walking-stick.”
An untimely interruption
A friend and I were talking about the anvil-scene at the beginning of The Hobbit. We’re a bit disappointed that Thorin’s wearing a shirt there. He’s shirtless in the art & design book. 8D”

OOC: I'm Dead Yet...
After getting butt-busy at work, forgetting things, and a nice, long vacation I'm finally back and looking to role play again. If anyone is interested in starting something new, or continuing something we started, just let me know. Thanks! ;u;
pandorascake said: Bilbo makes Thorin laugh, something hes never seen before. Maybe the rest of the company are suprised/amused too (you can switch it if you want) >//////> (ive never done this before)
“Mithrandir, why the halfling?”
“Saruman believes it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found. I found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay… small acts of kindness and love. Why Bilbo Baggins? That’s because I am afraid and he gives me courage.”
slashluvr answered: Maybe Hobbit Tangled!AU ;)
chocohalicfox answered: What about a Tangled/Rapunzel AU
and for idrials who came up with these awesome headcanons for Tangled!FemBilbo. Go read it for the story behind this picture! ;u;
sansael answered: Maybe Bilbo ill/injured and is in bed with fever and delirious? And Thorin trying to help him/or restrain so he wouldn’t hurt himself?
A while back you had an RP(?) going about Bilbo having something stuck in his foot. Was this ever finished? And if not, have you considered just finishing it up on your own making it into a fanfiction? I was really interested to see where it was going...
YES. I am planning on finishing it! I get caught up in work and life and certain rps (AWESOME ONES) take me a while to respond because I like to take my time with it. BUT I WILL. And by the way, that one specifically was called Caught in the Webs with averyimportantdwarf.
THIS IS MY FIRST ANON MESSAGE AND I AM EXCITE.

“I will make it so, if it need be..” He replied with a smirk growing to his lips, setting his fur lined jacket on a peg by the door. “You still have the sting of your words, Bilbo.. Truly, you do..” Thorin held out his hand to take up the Hobbit’s cloak and things, taking notice that he still had the Elvish dagger close to his side.
“That is good to hear. Though I wouldn’t think that you’d like to see a mess of dwarves arriving to raid the pantries again as you did..” The dark haired dwarf replied, though he quickly caught on to the sense of sadness that swept over some words. He peeked into the kitchens, opening to quickly skim through the cabinets.
“Something to drink? Or eat?” The blacksmith offered, leaning back to locate the Hobbit from the middle of the kitchen.
“You would have missed my sting, had I lost it!” Bilbo shed his bag, which he let drop and clang to the ground (the two pots and pan made such a loud noise that made the hobbit wince). He was careful now with his cloak, which he handed to Thorin with a nod and a small ‘thank you’. He was dressed modestly, a simple blue vest above a dirtied white shirt.
“Nor would I miss the smell.” He was smiling broader than he had in many moons, and the jest was all in good fun. “Though, I admit, it would be nice for a bit of unexpected company. Not often- no- but on occasion. My life has become rather… dull.”
He watched Thorin with a curious gaze, and he chuckled under his breath, “Never thought I would see the day when the great Thorin Oakenshield, King Under the Mountain, would be serving me tea. How things have changed!” He walked slowly into the dwarf’s kitchen, feeling just a hair too short for most of the counters. “Whatever you might serve me, I feel as if I could eat as much as Bombur.”
