                                              “Thank you.”

He spoke as he held her hand firmly yet gently and brought her closer only to twirl her around and chuckle. She danced better than him but it was okay. If it meant embarrassing himself to make her smile that was okay.

                                            “Go easy on me.”

Music from the radio continued to play, and the first few step Riku took was only a small twirl; following his lead. Immediately, her saddened expression turned into a soft delight as she saw how clumsy he is with his dancing. She giggled a little at his comment. A little bit of the large weight is starting to lift off her chest. Not quickly, but surely steady as she enjoys this moment.

                               “ I can try, but you have to lead me. ”

Just seeing her smiling face again made Kino chuckle with delight. It was light a bright light filled the room as he heard her giggle. This was his Riku- Well not his Riku she doesn’t belong to him but it was the Riku he knew and loved to see. Hesitantly he placed his hand on her waist as he continued to dance with her.

                             “If I trip and fall I’m bringing you down with me!”

*scribbles something on a sticky note and taps it to his forehead* --> Just kiss her already..

                                            “....Um...I...? What...?”

He’s contemplating if everyone knows about his feelings.

                                                     “Rikuuuuu...!” 

He whined blushing brightly as she kissed his nose. Her lips were really soft.

"What was that for? Do I need a reason to kiss you?"

                              “Well no but...It just caught me off guard and...I-I..”

                                                          “Eh!? A-Ah... U-Um...W-Well I wouldn’t say you have to apologize i-i....I’m not mad...or anything..” He was talking to him and they were even closer now. His whole face turned red. “...I was just...Never called cute before.”

                                            “I see…Um…”

Looking around Kino noticed his small radio that he had in his room. Quickly he walked over to it and started to play something that was a bit up in spirits. He moved back to her and reached his arms out to touch her hand. 

                                           “I know how much you like dancing… How about we shake our butts for a little?”

 Hands are felt by Kino’s gentle touch, her irises instantly looked at him as her ears also heard the radio turned on. She could always use this opportunity to dance her feelings off, right? Besides, why would she refuse? Standing up from the bed, Riku stepped a bit closer; her hands already holding onto his with fingers entwined together. 

She sighs softly.

                                                             “ .. Okay. ”

           Well, she’d lie if she didn’t think his actions wouldn’t surprise her.

When he flipped her over and her back laid on the bed, that was when there was something that felt completely unexpected. There she was now– pinned down on the bed; her apple-green eyes staring at Kinoshita on top of her. His response to her made it seem he was trying to prove a point. Her bewildered expression changed into a delight smile.

                              “Why bring so serious, Hii-chan? Hold me down                                                                               but I’m still going to tease you in the end.”

Her laugh ceased, seeing as how it’s not really funny to mess with Kinoshita too much. Riku softly sighed, her hands then reaching to wrap around underneath the arms for a hug; pulling him close in embrace as she rubbed his back.

                             “… I’m sorry. Will you hug me back..?”

Well he didn’t expect her to just stop all together or even apologize. He wasn’t really serious though at the same time he did want her to see that she was still a girl. Then again he didn’t want her to think she couldn’t play with him. With a sigh he smiled feeling her arms wrap around him, pulling him down. 

                “You don’t have to apologize...Of course I’ll hug you back.”

With a small smile he leaned down and wrapped his arms around her pulling her close and resting his head on her shoulder. She was very warm. It wasn’t so bad. He liked hugging her after all.

The moment he felt his cloak get caught with one of the arrows he fell backwards. Unfortunately he grabbed his rocket launcher too tightly causing it to go off. The rocket blasted out, zooming straight towards his opponent only for it to pass the snake and crash into the wall. It went off and exploding right then and there. 

Unfortunately while the rocket took everyone by surprise Kino escaped from the arrow and continued to run again.

“I’M SORRY!!” he yelled, switching his weapon into a scythe soon after.
