Don't call someone twice, don't send too much messages to someone, if they wanna answer you they won't be late. Don't tell anyone to stay more than once, and don't give second chance to people left you before, if they wanna stay they will find a way to stay. it might be hard but you have to be brave enough to save your soul.
It's okay to have had enough of a situation. It's okay to have had enough tolerating toxic people, of places that don't make you happy, of doing things that you used to like but feel too tired of. It is okay to change your mind. What matters is that you don't stay stuck on a state of chronic unhappiness by feeling unfulfilled, so you won't risk becoming depressed. You must keep going, moving forward, looking for things you'd like to do, people you'd like to meet, things that make you feel more complete. You don't have to stick to one choice you've made when younger for the rest of your life. Find new things to get excited about, to pursue, to be happy with. You don't need to live with a single purpose for life. You don't have to tolerate something just because you wanted it before. You are allowed to leave and to move on in pursue of new things that make you happier.
There is bravery in finding out that what you wanted for the rest of your life has changed, letting go of it, and chasing your newfound purpose.
There is bravery in letting go of that person you love so much but doesn’t treat you with respect, knowing that love alone can’t save a relationship.
There is bravery is asking for help, be it to a friend, a therapist, a doctor.
There is bravery in trying to become a better person, to be kind even though others haven’t been good or kind to you.
There is bravery in admitting that you too were toxic in your past and striving not to make those same mistakes again.

Wounds take time to heal. When they are fresh they hurt. The deeper the wound, the stronger the pain. When they start healing, they sting. You have to take great care of them, address them, rest and be patient. While healing, it can happen that the wound opens up and causes pain all over again. But eventually it will heal. A scar will form, visible at the beginning but fading with every day that passes. I am here to remind you that this process does not only apply to physical wounds but to mental / emotional wounds as well. Do not be hard on yourself while recovering, my love. Healing wounds, especially deep ones, take so much time and effort. They will open up again, they will be painful and that is good - because it is proof that you are healing.
