Jason chuckled, “Tim are you getting possessive, I didn’t think you were the type. Nice to know.”

“Fine,” Jason hummed as he looked down at the other. “I’m not scared of him, I just don’t want him to make you doubt this.” Jason pulled the other closer, honestly Tim’s words made him feel a lot better about this. It was good to know that Tim would tell Bruce off for him. “No, but we can make out at least three times so nobody gets any ideas about me being anything but yours.” Jason placed a kiss on the bridge of Tim’s nose.

Fine? Tim didn’t get the word’s meaning at first. He thought he will have to beg a little more. He grinned. “I will make you keep this promise,” he whispered and he snuggled to Jason when he pulled him closer. The man muffled Tim’s snort. “I stopped believing his words instantly long ago. We will show him and everyone that,” he smiled. “Wait. I don’t really want to be on the front page of the news.”

“I intend on keeping it, though I might just make hamburger helper if it’s okay with you. I mean there will be veggies with it of course but it still isn’t much and it’s not that impressive.” Jason was not getting worried over this, okay maybe he was slightly worried about whether or not Tim would actually like whatever he cooked. To be fair this was his first actual date, and he really did like Tim. “You’re gonna make front page no matter what Timmy, showing up with a guy will ensure that.”

Tim laughed. “You’re so cute, I can’t believe there was time when I was afraid of you! Hamburgers will be perfect and I’m sure I will love it. Just let me watch you doing it,” he asked with a playful smile. It was obvious Jason didn’t want to mess this up, and Tim wanted to be a good partner in it. The fact Jason will try to do something for him, warmed his heart and he decided no matter what will the man cook in the end, no matter how will it taste, he will eat it and like it. Jason deserved it. He sighed. “You think? Well... He will be a very handsome guy after all.”

Jason chuckled, honestly sometimes Tim was far too cute for someone who he knew could kick bad guy asses. “I’m fine with going on dates, Bruce has that party on Friday. He’ll have to play nice in front of everyone there and I think I can find something suitable for the occasion.” If they were going to tell Bruce a public are would probably be best, after all the old man couldn’t yell about anything that happened in costume while out of costume. “Dick probably won’t be that bad as far as this goes, and honestly Damian doesn’t matter that much.”

Tim lowered himself a little, just to reach Jason’s lips. He breathed a small, soft kiss on them, then he stood back. “I want to go on a date with you before we tell the others,” he said quietly. He looked at the man, frowning slightly. “You would go on an event with the family? I thought you want to avoid them.” He chuckled. “Dick will be happy, Bruce will be grumpy, but happy deep inside, and I don’t care what Damian thinks.” He hummed and smirked. “I want to see you wering a suit or tux. “Well I could cook us dinner tonight, light some candles and pull out a good table cloth.” Jason chuckled, honestly he was surprised to even be doing this. It wasn’t that bad though, he could see why some people stayed in relationships for most of their lives.“Yeah but we have to tell them eventually and if we do it in public Bruce can’t yell at me.” He rolled his eyes as he looked at the younger Robin, Bruce would definitely be more than grumpy about this. TBrucd would probably find it disgusting simply because they had both been like children to the man. “I do look great in a suit.”

“Oh,” Tim purred and he smiled widely. “I count that as a date, if it matters to you,” he answered. “I’d love to see you cooking… Probably naked under the apron?” Tim chuckled, then he pulled close again. “So, this means, we can tell them on Friday, I won’t mind if you’re really okay with it. I don’t want to force you, you know.” He frowned. “Don’t tell me, you’re afraid of him,” he commented and looked into Jason’s beautiful, seducing eyes. Having this kind of eyecolour is even legal? “Oh, no, then I will be jealous and grumpy all night.” He pouted.

After all if they were going to be doing this dating thing he was certain they around at least reach one Valentine’s Day. “I’m fine with it Tim, and I’m not scared of him. I just don’t want him pointing out the very obvious fact that you deserve someone better than me.” He wasn’t a good person, he would always be a street rat who stole tires His past was permanently etched in stone and he was sure it would come back to haunt him more than once. “You don’t have to be, I’m going to stay with you the entire night. At first Tim’s pout grew. Then it turned into a happy smirk. “Pretty please, Jaybird,” he asked, trying to sound seducing, then he chuckled. “You did sounded someone who’s afraid of him,” he pointed on it, then he let out a frustrated sound. “Jason, I will tell him the same as I will say you now and I repeat it as much as it needed: I’m an adult, I can decide what and who I want. “Well I’m Jason Todd and I don’t like forcing people into relationships with me. All of them end in death, and so far they have only been platonic relationships.” Jason didn’t really have much practice in the world of romance, he never had the time. As a kid he was on the streets almost all day trying to get enough money to pay for everything he, and his mother for the first part of his life on the streets, needed. Afterwards he focused on school and being Robin, and then he died and he really hadn’t been that keen on dating anyone. Yet somehow he had gotten Tim and Jason was scared, every good relationship he had ended in either his or the other’s death.

“I didn’t mean you’re forcing me to do anything,” Tim answered, and he pulled away slightly. “I’m just saying, you’re not forcing me. I wouldn’t do it with you if I didn’t mean or want to.” He smiled at the man, then he sighed. “It was a mistake, right? I– We should have followed the steps. Meeting, dates, kisses, then having sex. I’m sorry,” he whispered and he bit down on his lower lip thinking about what should he do to fix this.

I don’t even really know them for Christ’s sake, all I care about is your sure you want this to be an actual relationship. Tim let Jason pull him closer and he leant onto the strong arms. “You don’t?” he asked surprised, blinking. “But I want to go a date with you...” he pouted and he looked away for a short second. He looked into Jason’s eyes. “I do want being with you, saying we’re in a relationship with you, and I don’t want to keep it as a secret, unless you want that.” He chuckled. “Not the easiest? That’s the fun part, babe.” He raised himself up on his tiptoes and he placed a kiss on Jason’s nose.
