hello all! it’s true. my big secret— i am a romaboo at heart, so here is a little lookbook for all your latin girls. there is unfortunately a flagrant drought of historically accurate roman sims clothing so i have done my very best with what is available as an untalented cc creator myself— i’d like to thank the amazing @sychik , @vintagesimstress , @clepysdra , @simverses , @dancemachinetrait , and @inlovewithregencyera for their contributions to my specific late republican roman niche.

This one was inspired by Lucille Sharpe's nightgown from Crimson Peak, 2015. I tried to make the sleeves as large as possible to resemble the garment from the film, because her sleeves almost sweep the floor, without making them move too weirdly with sims' bodies. Can't say I succeeded, but I tried. They still move weirdly and clip with items and other sims' bodies during interactions, but for the most part they look okay.

How it moves in game:

Known problems: it looks okay 95% of the time… until it doesn't. Then it looks like this 👇

I went through all the options I know to fix it and came to the conclusion that it's me - I am the problem. It's the way I made the mesh, and, with all the love in my heart, I just don't have it in me to redo it right now. I'll try to fix it at some point, but for the moment, 95% of the time, it's fine.
