Masterlist: The freak circus - Brazilian dictatorship AU
This AU reimagines the events of The Freak Circus game, taking place in Brazil in 1973, within the context of a military dictatorship and strong repression. The MC of the AU is a young participant in student movements, protesting against the regime of the period. For more information, access the link above.
To create these stories in a way that makes more sense hysterically, I'm reading various texts and research about the period, and in the future I intend to add a topic to this masterlist for theoretical background with the names of the texts I've read.
Redesign + interaction with MC + creative process :
The redesign was done imagining that, after the events of @nekoboydreams ' comic about the old circus costumes, they wore a different version of clothing before the ones used during the game. These costumes were slightly better adapted for them, but with a design that acts as a reinterpretation of classic Commedia dell'Arte costumes. Despite the differences between the outfits, the color that unites them all is blood red.
