kuroo sometimes gets annoyed with kenma, but he has only ever snapped at him once in the entire time they’ve known each other. the day it happened, kenma was so shocked that he had no idea what to say or do. the next day at school he was too scared to talk to kuroo and kuroo was still too mad to talk to him; neither of them texted each other for two whole days. kenma eventually got so anxious from thinking he’d lost his most important friend that he physically could not go to school on the third day, and when kuroo found out from his concerned mother in the morning he rushed to kenma’s house and started knocking on his door for him to come out of his room. eventually after half an hour of persistence, kenma opened the door and the first thing kuroo did was hold him in his arms causing kenma to burst into tears and cry about how sorry he was and that he didn’t want kuroo to hate him because he was his only real friend. since that time, kuroo has never dared to snap at kenma ever again.
