“I didn’t do anything!”

He’s leaning against something to keep himself upright, trying not to seem weak even when it’s obvious that something’s wrong with him. A throbbing in his head, a pinch in his throat. A spinning of his vision.

“I don’t know what’s going on.”

His voice is quiet, much quieter than he usually is, and he feels as though he’ll end up on the floor.

The fairy ring does nothing- it’s to be expected, but he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t disappointed. He’d expected something… more. It’s only when he gets home that he begins to suffer from the consequences of his actions. - 🍄

It starts small, a tickle within his throat, a minuscule blur of his vision, the likes. Easily cleared away by clearing the throat, or blinking more, or even dashing to feel the wind in his face. But by the time he’s entered his bedroom, he’s pretty close to passing out. Of course, he’ll just blame it on being tired, but something’s definitely wrong.

The skies are dark as night falls upon the server. As Blake roams the quiet world, he can’t help but notice the plentiful amount of mushrooms, arranged neatly in a circle. He may not know why, but something within him tells him that it would be in his best interest not to disturb it… -🍄

Though his instinct is usually right, he’s too curious to just leave it be. Slowly, he begins approaching the circle of mushrooms.‘Fairy ring,’ his brain provides helpfully, but without much result. Looking down at it, the mushrooms don’t seem to be the kind of mushrooms that grew on the server normally. Cautiously, he takes one between his fingers, plucking it from the ground, from its brethren.

“Huh.”

It’s just a mushroom.

I think that it's the same way it always has been, Blake. Though, people have more of the reason to dislike you as of late. The masquerade, The spawn invasion, the fight in Gitaly, maybe it's time to take a different approach.

That's the problem. You've always done this, and from what I've foreseen—you always will. Violence is certainly a key, but not to the door you're trying to open.
