“Where is it, where is it, where is it?” Lucy muttered under her breath as she carried on searching through her things. “I swear if he has found them I’m gonna kill him.”
Mason poked his head around the doorway, “Everything okay luce?”

“You know.. I don’t think I’ve ever been so glad for somebody being captured.” Regulus spoke softly to himself with yet another slight smirk lining his lips. “This is so cheesy and please, feel free to tease, but I am so glad we met, Mase..” The former Slytherin admitted with a smile.
Mason gave a light laugh, “And I don’t I could be any more grateful for being captured.” He replied meeting the male’s gaze with a grin. “It’s very cheesy but I feel the same way.” The male paused biting down on his lip as he considered something. “So, do you think it’s too soon to talk about what this is or where it’s going?”

“You wouldn’t happen to be new to town by any chance?” She stared at him suspiciously as he tried to backtrack on his words. He was clearly apart of the new group that had arrived considering her weird behaviour. It was just making her think that maybe Sam had a point with all of his crazy theories.
“Is it that obvious?” He asked raising a brow with a chuckle. “I mean, I’m not sure if I’d class myself as new now. I think we’ve been here for just over a year.”

Her brows raised in question as she gave him a look as if to say really. “If you say so.” She made a hmm sound, still continuing to give him a dubious look. “A what?” She asked confused as she slowly grabbed a glass tumbler and turned behind her to pick up one of the bottles of whiskey to fill the glass with two fingers width.
“I do say so.” He met her gaze giving her a pointed look as a grin tugged at his lips. Mason gave a shrug as he cleared his throat awkwardly. “It’s a brand of whiskey from erm... from abroad my bad. I just meant whiskey.” He gave her an awkward smile giving another shrug.

Regulus felt the other male’s hands slip beneath his shirt and found his breath catching in his throat for a moment, the feeling of being so close to him was almost overwhelming. After a few further moments, Regulus slowly broke the kiss and exhaled heavily, keeping his eyes closed as he tried to regain control of his breathing. “That was…” His eyes flickered open to peer into those of the other male. “..Definitely worth the wait.” A smirk crossed his face.
A smirk was made it’s way to his face as the male broke the kiss. He bit down on his lip looking at the Slytherin, his smirk growing wider at Regulus’ comment. “Well worth the wait, but next time let’s not wait as long.” He replied with a wink.

As he listened to Mason speak, Regulus couldn’t stop the warmth from radiating in his chest. His lips tugged into a large smile as he absorbed the words and without a second thought, the raven haired young wizard leaned forward to capture the former Gryffindor’s lips in a kiss. Once their lips met, Regulus moved one of his hands to rest against the side of Mason’s neck, holding him gently. It felt almost as though a huge weight had been lifted from his shoulders the moment the contact between them was established.. Everything had been leading up to this moment - and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
Words were no longer needed, they were no longer enough. The press of his lips was neither lustful nor flirtatious. The male’s touch was nothing but tenderness. His hands slipped under his top but not out of hunger, just to fulfil the desire to hold him closer, to let themselves sink into this moment and chase the rest of the world and forget everything that was going on with his warmth.

“You have a weird way of starting a friendly conversation.” Her brows furrowed as she gave him a weird look. “We’re a bar. What do you think we have? There’s a variety of beers on tap we have or a couple bottles of wine.”
Mason shrugged, “It’s not that weird.” He replied matter-of-factly. “What about firewhiskey-- I mean, erm, whiskey.” The male asked cursing himself for his mistake.

“Well, I’m kind of like a safety blanket for you, aren’t I?” Regulus spoke with a slight smile lacing his lips as he once again wrapped his arms around the male, tugging him closer. “Because, you know I’ll always protect you.” His voice was quiet and laced with truth. “And, I guess my arms can fit around you pretty well too.” He teased with yet another smile as he allowed his gaze to drift down to the other male’s lips for a moment. “Your turn…” He spoke quietly with a smirk.
A smirk laced his lips as he listened to the male, "I'd say you're a little more than that, but I see your point." He shuffled slightly as Regulus pulled him closer. As he laid there looking at the male, he couldn’t help but to smile at his luck. “Almost as if they were made for me.” He joked inwardly cringing at how it had sounded. "You remind me of home. Or rather I feel like I'm home when I'm with you." Mason replied more seriously this time. He’d never really had a place to call home, not that he’d ever spoken to his past with anyone, but somehow when he was with the male he imagined that was exactly what home felt like.

“Well I mean, I can think of another few reasons why I’m good to keep here..” Regulus spoke, shuffling up onto the pillow so he could peer straight into Mason’s eyes. Their faces were in such close proximity, if Reg wanted to he could have moved a mere inch and their lips would be connected. And Merlin, did he want to. “But, I’d much prefer hearing you tell me.”
"But now you have me curious as to what you think it might be." He pointed out with a raised brow. It was only as he talking to the male that he realised how close they’d gotten. He could feel Regulus’ breath against his skin. It was all very distracting, he almost found himself forgetting what he was going to say as his eyes looked down at the male’s lips. “How about if you tell me what you think they are, then I'll tell you if you're right and reward you with another reason"

Regulus nodded his head with a smile. “Good.” He responded before peering up at the other male, cocking his head to the side as he raised a brow. “You mean other than my obvious dashing good looks and humour?” He questioned with a smile.
The auburn haired male let out a laugh. “Yes other that the obvious. Though I feel the humour is questionable.” He was joking, of course, the male was always able to make Mason laugh so there was no question of his sense of humour.

“I should have expected it to be too good to be true.” The female huffed, glaring at the guard who held her captive. All she had wanted was freedom, not to be back where she had begun.
“Should have known what was too good to be true?”

“Look, just tell me what it is that I can get you, I have other customers to serve.”
“Well, I wanted a nice friendly conversation but if don’t think you could managed that I suppose I’ll have a drink. What have you got?”

“I will, I promise.” Regulus spoke with a smile and nuzzled into the other male’s chest once again. It was odd, how quickly their relationship had turned into something more affectionate and intimate after their ordeal, but the young Slytherin certainly wasn’t complaining - especially since they could get away with such things without worry of being caught. Feeling Mason pull him closer made Regulus’ heart swell in his chest, the feeling of being in his arms was one that he could definitely get used to. “I mean, I absolutely would not have said no if you has asked.” The male smiled to himself, peering up for a moment so he could send a cheeky smirk in the redhead’s direction. “You are, no doubt.” He grinned.
Mason nodded his head, pleased with the male’s answer. A smile tugged at his lips as the male nuzzled into him, he could get used to that. “Noted. Next time I’ll just ask then.” The male had never been so thankful for being taken prisoner before. A chuckle left his lips. “So what exactly are you bring into this?” He teased with a smirk.

Regulus shook his head in response to the male’s offer then smiled, leaning into his touch. “I’m okay for now, thank you though.” He spoke and shuffled back into his former position with his head resting against Mason’s shoulder. “Me too.. You were right, having you here did help.” He spoke, his voice slightly muffled as he tugged on the duvet and wrapped it over his shoulders, hiding any bare skin from the cold. “Having a personal hot water bottle is definitely something I could get used to.” He spoke softly as he gently traced his fingertips over the skin of Mason’s arm.
Mason brushed his thumb over Regulus’ cheek, hating the bruises that sat there. “Well, make sure you let me know if it starts getting too much. You don’t have to be brave for my sake.” He gave him a small smile before pulling his arm from beneath the male and wrapping it around his shoulders instead, pulling him closer. “It did? Oh that’s good, I just said it so I could get into bed with you if I’m honest.” The male joked looking down at the wizard with a wink. “I do generate a lot of body heat so I am the ideal heat source.”

A light groan passed the male’s lips as he stirred in the bed, eyes flickering open as he turned his head, a smile crossing his lips as his gaze fell on the redhead that lay on the pillow beside him. Regulus then closed his eyes contently, preparing to drift back off to sleep before he heard the voice of the male. Opening his eyes once again, the dark haired young man smiled as he connected his gaze with Mason’s. Nodding his head he then shifted closer, resting his forehead against the other male’s shoulder gently. “Just a little sore..” He exhaled deeply before looking back up at the other male, smiling. “You sleep okay?”
He couldn’t help but to smile as he met the male gaze. His messy bed-hair and small smile tugged at Mason’s heartstrings, it wouldn’t be hard to grow used to waking up next to him. Bringing his hand up to Regulus’ face, he hovered over the bruises giving him a sad smile. “Want me to do a healing spell?” He offered with a concerned look on his face. A smirk made it’s way to his face. “One of the best sleeps I’ve had in a while, what about you?”

Mason sat up slightly leaning on his forearm as he felt the male shift in the bed next to him. “Reg?” He whispered checking to see if the male had woken up. “You okay?” The wizard asked in a hushed tone. He’d spent the past few nights ‘guarding’ the male since he’d left the hospital after being attacked.
