My last thought about Carina MacKenzie and the whole TO gang
Blaming the Klaroline fandom for the shit that is TO only means not taking their own responsibilities for what they write, lack of self-criticism, lack of humility and lack of maturity.
Behaving with such aggressiviness toward a single fandom that is only guilty of having a huge voice and nothing else,because let’s be honest we’re harmless, is childish to say the least. Perhaps deep down they’re aware they made lots of mistakes with this show since the very beginning and they don’t know how to cope with this, otherwise I can’t explain why they have to be so loud on twitter and during interviews against the Klaroline shippers, why they always feel the need to explain their “artistry” and make up excuses for choices they made about the show. If they really believe in their artistic writing then there’s no need invent excuses or pick a fight against our fandom.
Fans disagree. It’s a fact. There will always be part of the fandom criticising the producers'choices, it’s normal as much as it’s common not to generalize and blaming an entire group of people for the insults received. It is known fandoms are full of “bad apples”, people who send hate on purpose, but who DON’T represent the majority of the fandom.
These writers need to learn to accept criticism, to be humble and grounded. To stop thinking they’re elitists, part of a sophisticated clique writing refined, high-class scripts, otherwise they’d be writing other shows for other channels.
