K. Dhiffushi produces around 350,000–360,000 litres of desalinated water daily, with plants operating continuously to meet demand. The system supplies approximately 350 households through a 7 km underground network, supported by two storage tanks that provide short-term reserves. It remains operationally stable with minimal maintenance needs. To support future growth, plans are in place to introduce additional desalination plants and larger storage capacity, strengthening the island’s water infrastructure.
