Captain, is there something wrong with your chair?
What Purps is watching...
Dom perignon vintage 2265 flying through space.
Super villian hair coming along nicely
Was asked if I could make a dannelion. First attempt. Thoughts?
Reminds me of Queen Anne's Lace... and it's lovely.. I really like the green gem incorporated in the stem. A wire dandelion seems really tricky, so delicate and intricate!
I LOVE wire wrapping and wire art. I made a whole 8" tree out of copper wire and beads for my mom's pink salt lamp. And I really need to up my Etsy store game... sigh.
It was very tricky and I have the sore fingers to prove it.
What kind of wire are you using? Is it hardened or soft? That makes a HUGE difference.
Soft ish. But I've been crocheting for the past week so finger ends feeling a bit hard done by with change in material
I remember when I first started playing with wire wrapping I snagged some leftover stitching wire from the booklet stapler at work. It was a spool of spring hard steel. I nearly destroyed my fingers and tools.
I was like... maybe I should check out the craft stores and try buying some crafting wire, lol. I was in heaven when someone who worked at the phone company handed me a leftover spool of electrical wire. Copper is still one of my favorite metals for wire wrapping!
*come closer* *shifty eyes* I'll let you into a secret... My fiance is an electrical engineer ... *Winks* I can get my hands on loads I'd copper wire 😉
You should DEFINITELY try it. It's soft and so wrappable...
Once he's finished rewiring the flat I should have some to play with

A reminder that you don’t need a “good reason” to be having mental health struggles right now. We are all going through it, even if our individual situations are better than others. Our individual struggles are not a competition. Be kind to yourself, be kind to others, and practice good self care.
There are many changes I expect to become part of every day life post lockdown, but the one I am hoping for is greater understanding in the populace at large of mental health issues.
