Amatory Sacrilege is an interactive fiction piece. You play as [YOUR NAME], a stranger who finds a notebook in the ruins of a cathedral. Inside the notebook lays a long, non-remorseful confession of terrible crimes that emitted in the city. You've seen the awful shit written in here on news outlets. With such detail, too. How could someone just... leave something like this out in the open? And why do you feel so inclined to tell someone about what you read?
When you report the notebook to the guards, they decide you include you on their mission to seek and destroy its owner. You're sent to find the owner of the notebook by following along the path she took. Why are you sent, you ask? Well, you don't look like you would be a threat.
You know who it is, there's no surprise in that. But where is she?
Along your path, you work a variety of careers to find information on the culprit. You encounter a wide range of workers that grew to know the owner of the notebook. But they grow... strangely interested in you. They grow obsessed with you the longer you're around them. Is it out of love? Anger maybe or vengeance? Will you be able to progress on your task to find the owner? Will you become caught up in the romance of the interests? Will that romance end up killing you?
Let's say you do end up finding the notebook's author. Will you end up turning her in or will you keep her as a loving secret?
Each love interest has their own unique personalities, love languages, storyline, and endings! But they do have one thing in common;
They hold no morality and will do whatever it takes to get you all to themselves should they become fond of you.
