Listen. I 100% understand that the "rape or incest" argument is targeting the "If you don't want a baby don't have sex" argument.

But it still pisses me off as a disabled person.

I can't safely have a pregnancy because I'm disabled. I take strong medication that takes a toll on my body, and that's the risk I have to take because my migraines have put me in the emergency room.

Some of the medication I have to take is VERY new on the market, because my body simply won't respond to anything else, and as such there's no testing to determine the affect on pregnancy.

Consent in getting pregnant aside. I simply can't carry a baby to term because the medication that I need to survive isn't compatible with a fetus. Shit, it's barely compatible with my grown ass adult body. And that's still toeing the line.

How about instead of saying "rape or incest" we say "physical or mental health of the pregnant person"? Maybe we should include disabled people that need strong medication in this discussion? Maybe we should include pregnancy complications in this discussion? Maybe we should include mental health and ability to provide care in this discussion? Just a thought?
