5/6 …While we were recording The Con in Portland we started talking about album artwork and press photos. We had met Autumn once before through our publicist and absolutely loved her work. In typical Tegan and Sara fashion we were quite self deprecating to Chris about landing Autumn De Wilde to take our photos. My recollection is he encouraged Autumn to work with us. She agreed (we were over the moon) and flew up to Portland for 3 days to work on in-studio shots, as well as press shots and potential album artwork. Autumn is very tall, and we are very short. We loved that she often would just sit on the floor in front of us to shoot. She also counted down nearly every shot she took so I could close my eyes between photos. My Ptosis was so bad that there were only a few seconds where both my eyes would be open at the same time… #TheConX
