"I can actually slowly start not shitting meself! The first 9 songs or whatever I've been terrified up here, but thank you for your support, I feel the love, i feel the love so thank you for that. [...] There was a time in my life where I thought, you know, I was never gonna get back to touring, nevermind fucking venues like this! I'm not really a man to brag but this is me 23rd time on this fucking stage! But for the longest time, I never, I mean honestly, I would've been happy with half of this, less. Look at the fucking life you have created for me, honestly! I've not got enough of words to show my fucking gratitude but you guys know at this point, I hope. I fucking love you all, so thank you!" - 03.05
"I've got one last emotional speech for you but first let's take a picture! [...] O2, you're fucking incredible! Sometimes these big shows get the better of me but I've enjoyed every second, thank you so much! I just want you to take one more minute, one more moment, to look at what you've done for me, look around! [...] I will say I have beenā I get a little bit overwhelmed if I'm on stage and I think I went all tour without thanking my fucking incredible support acts, right? So, let's give it up for Pale Waves and ADMT, Alex Spencer. I feel very, very lucky to share the stage with those people but also this is really, really fucking important: there's a big crew that works on this, right? Let's give it up fucking huge for the crew, go big! I've literally got two songs left and I'm still fucking overwhelmed, right come on, we're having it! This is Miss You!" - 03.05

Genuine question cuz Iāve no idea how this works lol but why didnāt promoters cancelled his Oslo date? Is it because itās in Europe and the touring equipment was already there but with Asia itās way too expensive to tour all these places without venues being decently sold? I wonder how much Louis had to pay from his own pocket for some losses considering his last tour wasnāt sold out as well and these were so many dates (or maybe itās BMG whoās paying for it and he owes them money?)ā¦Iād looove to know about this a little bit more because with keeping his ticket prices as low as possible and with this tour having relatively more expensive production I feel like heās barely breaking evenwith touring although the merch probably help to make some profitā¦
The Oslo show is a special case bc the capacity they went for was half the venue that he ended up playing at but the og venue was and I think still is under construction so he had to play in an arena twice as big. The promoters were aware of that, so no problems there (especially that technically, he almost sold out the og capacity). I'm not an expert at these things but from what i understand, the money that goes to the artist is the same whether the venues sell out or not, it's the promoters that face loss if the sales are too underwhelming. And giving that they renewed their faith in him and he's doing arenas again, I'd say he's doing fine (and we've seen the crowds he pulled šš«¶). The sold out label isn't everything (in fact, bigger artists that have teams manipulating their image say shows are sold out all the time when they're not actually sold out). Sold out or not, Louis sells enough tickets that he's able to tour arenas at a time where very known artists can't. He wouldn't keep doing it if he was losing money and keep paying out of his pocket like some of people seem to think, that's just unrealistic and illogical (remember in aotv when he broke his arm and stupid chris suggested they cancel the rest of the tour and Louis looked at him funny and said something like "if you pay from your pocket" or something like that). If we're talking about those cancelled asian shows, I don't think he had to pay anything bc I think he was ready to perform even if the venues weren't full so it was probably the promoters' call to cancel. Understandbly so (but they should've done it before. My guess is the sales were decent but bc touring is so expensive in Asia, they were waiting for the shows to sell out and when that didn't happen, they cancelled). Ed Sheeran, who i'm sure sold out his shows there and with a huge attendance said that they lost money to tour there. Imagine a much smaller and non sold out venue then. That being said, Louis definitely makes sure to keep tickets as affordable as possible and to do execute that intention, it's inevitable to minimze the profit and cut off the greed a bit. I'm sure he's making profit though and the merch sales probably help as well.
Holy hell Louis is beautiful
6-5-26 Louis followed Fanfair Alliance's new instagram; the group has a platform aimed at reforming ticket resale in the UK
"Bringing together a wide cross-section of the UKās music community, FanFair takes a stand againstĀ profiteering in the secondary ticketing market and supports pro-consumer legislation, technologies and business practices.
As an antidote to exploitation, we advocate ācappedā resale ā where music fans are provided with services to safely resell a ticket for the price they paid or less."

"Right, so I was trying to avoid the No Control chants, you're not getting it tonight, calm down, you're not getting it tonight, I'm sorry, you're not gettting it tonight! [towards the band] You want it? I was just about to say you're tempting me there like, you're tempting me. No, no, no, don't! Listen, I'm cruel, I'm cruel, it's not happening tonight, I promise, I'm so sorry. It's been alright though, the one here tonight or? Yeah! Alright, just a little bit of fun for meself up here, this is Miss You!" - 06.04
"Iāve written a couple more personal songs, right? It takes a bit of confidence to do that, it takes a bit of bravery to do that but I also need people that I feel really comfortable to be able to share those kind of moments with. It's one thing writing the song, it's another thing performing those kind of songs in these spaces, it still feels very very raw. So I just wanna say thank you, thank you for being the kind of crowd that I can trust with being raw, being emotional, it's not easy so thank you very much for that." - 06.04
