This is my grandmother. She is 99. Of all the things, painful and beautiful, I have learned from her this is what sticks out. This picture. This is how I want to feel at 99. Alula Editions

Alula Editions was born out of a desire to bring together patterned textiles and contemporary art in the form of a limited edition multiple. Helena Keeffe del Pesco and I founded a year-long project working with other artists to produce repeat patterns for textiles. We then hand-printed those patterns and produced editioned objects.

Pictured below are the editions made in collaboration with Jason Jagel, Allison Smith, Helena Keeffe/Headlands Center for the Arts, and Amy Franchescini along with a short video below documenting the printing process on the Jason Jagel edition.
