Dug IT. I loved the way EVERYTHING YOU WANT ME TO BE by Mindy Mejia describes a small farming town in Minnesota and the beloved city of Minneapolis with intimate, nostalgic detail (at one point I had to check and see if I had grown up with or around the author, especially because I even went to school with a girl named Hattie *Hoff*)...and it def didn't hurt that it has a central character that reminded me of a cross between Stabler from "Law & Order: SVU" and Jim Hopper in "Stranger Things".
