SEAN SPICER: Well I think โ there is this โ what I get frustrated with is the double standard in rush to click instead of get it right. Look we all make mistakes. I make them all the time. And I think that what has happened is there is this predisposition in the media to, especially with this president to assume he canโt do certain things. He wasnโt going to run, heโs wasnโt going to file, he couldnโt win a primary, he wasnโt going to get of the field, that he couldnโt win Michigan, he wouldnโt win Iowa, why is he wasting his time in Pennsylvania? Then he didnโt win this. And this vote was going to happen and now the nominees arenโt going to get through. In every case, heโs ย defied the odds and won. And I think the interesting thing is, at some point, the disposition should be he is going to do it unless we can prove otherwise. He has shown through every step of the way that heโs going to win. And so it just seems to me itโs just odd that if those are the odds, if you are looking at his track record, the track record is a proven track record of success and winning. And yet, the mediaโs default is on every scenario, whether itโs hasnโt nominees getting through or winning a primary or him accomplishing something,its immediately negative and a failure.
