Happy holidays adolcemorte ! I know this is cutting it a little close, and I'm sorry if I made you wait! Here's a fanmix for one of my absolute favorite roleplayers & her amazing representation of one of my favourite rune factory characters!

You play Dolce in such an amazingly interesting and complex manner it was hard to pin her personality down with a few songs, but hopefully I wasn't too far off the mark.

[Candace’s mouth twitches into an awkward smile as the customer rubs her face against one of the sweaters - unsure if she should stop this strange stranger from nuzzling the wares, or let her be. Which would her sister do? … She has no idea.] Um… I’m glad you like them..! That’s, um. They’re— hmm.

[Sighs with relief as the girl decides to buy the sweater. She’s certainly allowed to nuzzle anything she’s intending to pay for, Candace thinks.] Oh— sure! Ah—

[Blinks, touching her own neck with tentative fingers as she tries to figure out what the girl is asking for in addition to the sweater.] Mm— … a scarf? [Smiles.] You need a scarf, too?

[Still holding the soft sweated tight to her chest, she nods enthusiastically as Candace speaks - well, attempts to speak.] Hmm... That's it! A scarf! A scarf! Wow, you're smart! Do you know everything about clothes?

[Grins happily as she looks gestures to the sweater with one free hand.] Soooo... Are these scarft thingies as warm as this thingy? I hope so, because whatever this is, it's amaaaazing, hee-hee! Almost as warm as the sun itself! ♥

Spirited Searching || Amber & Kiel

"Well, actually—" Kiel started before cutting himself off as Amber’s own energetic response startled him, leaning back a bit when she halted a few inches away from him. "Oh, well…" He found himself frowning himself. He didn’t actually have anything to show for at the moment. "Not right now but… I can bring you something from home?" He suggested helplessly, vaguely wondering if they still had any honey or sweets in the fridge.

"It’s over here…" Kiel said as he held the book in the nook of his elbow, flipping open to the page that he had been on earlier. He traced his finger around the rare flower. "It’s a rare flower that’s apparently indigenous to Selphia, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen it around before? So I was kind of wondering if you or Illuminata might be able to recognize it…"

A grin cracked on his face as he thought of a way to maybe make this worthwhile for the guardian. He shut the book and tucked it in under his arm.  ”They supposedly grow in pairs so if I can figure out where they’d be, I’ll definitely save you the other one!”

A rather upset huff escaped from her lips as she was told that Kiel hand't brought her anything at all. But, as quick as it came, it vanished, replaced by an eager grin. "It's okay! At least you came to visit! ♪" She replied in a singsong voice, resuming rocking on her heels.

"Hm?" Amber perked up as he flipped through the pages. scrunching her nose as she took in the image, searching through her somewhat spotty memories for any recollection of the flower. Suddenly the memory hit her, her smile growing wider across her tiny face as it came back to her. "Ooooh - that flower! I don't remember it's name but..." She paused, rubbing a hand over her stomach in a circular motion, letting out a small giggle. "I remember the taste! It was the tastiest flower I've ever had!" 

"You'd... give me one?" Her sky blue eyes widened in delight as he leaned forward to wrap the young man in a tight hug, squealing with delight. "Oh Kiel that's the best gift ever! Of course I'll help you find the taste flower! ♪" Amber released him, swinging her arms at her side happily after doing so. "So... As Ellie would say... 'Any leads'?"

Spirited Searching || Amber & Kiel

The moment he saw read that the species was indigenous to areas around Selphia, he knew he had to look for it. Despite living in the town all his life, he was pretty sure he hadn’t seen it before. Or if he had, it was when he was younger and more prone to going off the path, and he had forgotten it in the sea of memories of childhood adventuring.

Kiel skimmed the description again. Grew in pairs. Ranged from yellow to red. Impressive healing properties if distilled just right. And the illustration was gorgeous.

That last bit settled it for him. He sat up straight from his desk, stretching his arms to let loose the tense muscles before grabbing the book in front of him and set off for Melody Square.

When he burst into Carnations, the book was still partially opened and pressed against his chest. “Illumi—Amber? Anyone in?” He looked up from the tome he carried to check if either of them were in the shop at the moment, a twinkle of excitement in his eyes.

The sudden swing of the door caught Amber's attention, and she spun around wide-eyed to look for what was responsible for the sudden loud and loud noise. Her sky blue eyes settled on the familiar figure of Kiel, who was bright eyed and in a particularly good mood.

"Kiel~!!" The guardian practically bounced towards the door, pausing to rock on her heels just inches away from the young man. "Why are you so excited, huh? Did ya bring me something? ♪" The antennae on top her head stood straight up from her bright green hair, as if to mirror her excitement, as her gaze poked around, searching for any sign of something that just might be for her.  

Her gaze drifted, making it's way downwards to the book spread somewhat open, stuck tight against his chest. "Is it this book...? Hm... That's not a very good present you know." Her tiny hands stretched out towards the book, curious to see if it was at the very best, mediocre, while a slight pout formed on her petite face. "Something to eat woulda been better... Or something warm."

[Giggles from a few feet away, finishing drawing an arrow pointing to a child-like doodle of Amber, connecting the words “Cute And Nice Girl!” to said doodle. She hides her goopy hand behind her.] Nah, don’t ask me. I don’t know anything about it! ♪

[Gasps as she notices the drawing of herself appear - and grins as the words appear one by one.] !!! What a nice ghostie! ♥ [Blinks in surprise, turning around to the source of the voice.] Pico! There you are - I was just gonna look for you... Huh?

[Pouts, now thoroughly confused, if Pico had no idea than this truly was a mystery... A mystery to be solved.] We should get to the bottom of this! ♪ Let's solve this case. ♥ You wanna be my 'Watson' Pico? [Grins happily, despite the fact she has no idea what the word means, she's only heard Ellie mention it when she goes on her own cases.]

[Candace had just finished setting up the last of the winter clothing displays when she heard the coo near the front of the shop. Granted, this had taken her and her sister more than just this one afternoon - but it felt good to be putting the final touches on the very last display. She smiles in the stranger’s direction, a bit awkwardly - coming closer with a box full to the brim of fall items that hadn’t been sold before the turn-over needed to take place.]

That’s, um— that one’s new. The whole shop is, you know. All new. [She bows slightly to the customer, careful not to spill the contents of the box as she does so.] Please let me know if you need any help, okay..? My grandma’s out at the moment, so— it’s just me right now—

[Turns to the stranger as she approaches her, a grin forming on her face.] Hello! ♪ Huh - new? [Blinks, looking to the clothing. That must be why it was so soft.] Mmmmmmmmm.... [Closes her eyes as she snuggles up to one of the sweaters, the antenna on top of her head wiggling about as she does so.] Do you make these? They're soooo soft! ♪ Like a field of flowers! 

[Keeps the sweater tight to her chest as she hums happily.] I want this one! And uh -- what's that thing that goes around your neck to keep it warm? You know the uh, um, what did Ellie say it was again...? [Scrunches he face in an attempts to remember, but to no avail.]

[Writing graffiti on the front of the shop with the tip of her finger, her tongue sticking out with concentration as she smears ectoplasm around.] Mhm.. that looks good..

[Reluctantly steps outside after Ellie had forced her out to do errands. Catches a glimpse of writing appearing on the front of the shop and slowly begins to look around.] ... Whoah! ♪

Spooky... [Blinks in surprise.] I should ask Pico about this, hee-hee! She's probably an expert on spooky stuff like this...

[He's passed by the flower shop several times now, but has only recently had any reason to step inside - so step inside he does. He hovers at the entrance, looking through the shelves and floral displays - before noticing the young lady and giving her a friendly wave.] Hello! ♪

[Pays no mind to the opening of the door, instead happily humming to herself as she waters some of the flowers in the corner of the shop. Only seems to notice that the door had been opened when the cold draft that slipped through the door catches up to her, and with a quick pout and a shiver begins looking around.]

Hmm... [Gives him a stern look - but based upon his kind greeting she decides against blaming him for the cold.] Hiya. ♪ Welcome!

You here for some flowers --? We've got pretty ones -- and tasty ones! [Nods her head enthusiastically, giving a wide grin as she skips over to the man, examining him further.] Your clothes are funny! ♥

Peter jumped at the outburst. He turned his head to face the girl. Winter could be beautiful … “Have you tried wearing warmer clothes?” he asked with a quizzical expression on his face.

"Huuuh?" After a few startled blinks, Amber registered the strange man's words. "Warmer clothes, huh? Would they make the sun come back?" She gave a sharp exhale through her nose, shaking her head at the idea. "That doesn't make any sense, silly!"

Waaah! Where did the sun go? The winter is so cold and dark... I can't like it no matter how hard I try!
