Alice rolled her eyes at Rory’s advice but calmed down anyway. The girl sighed, “I’m just so fed up of this bloody nonsense.” she whispered, “They have no right.”

“I don’t think that it matters,” Rory said with a shrug. She leaned back against the wall to just ride it out because there wasn’t any other choice.

She couldn't believe how calm Rory was being, or most of her classmates around her. But Alice knew, this wasn't the time or the place. "They given you detention for no reason yet?" she asked, joining the redhead by the wall.

“To my mother.” She was worried about saying anything else in case someone was listening. Usually Mindy was optimistic, but lately she was becoming more and more of a realist with everything that was going on. “Do you have anything…?” She whispered.

Alice was sympathetic with Mindy, everyone had private belongings in there that they wanted to be kept just that, private. “I’m sure they won’t care about some letters anyway.” she reassured. Alice gave out a small laugh, “Don’t worry, I’m smarter than that.”
