Introducing myself

I just needed to have my favorite places in Montreal (and else) listed somewhere, for me and anyone interested.

Life had been tough for me lately, but I'm lucky enough to live in a country where I can take a break for my physical health !!

I love traveling, walking and discovering nice places and nice coffee, taking pictures, watching birds and so on. I'm also a Japan enthusiast and a whimsical, witchy soul.

And I love Montreal !!

Café Chiado n°28 - 1404 Rue Beaubien E, MTL

I was wandering around the other day and found this nice café. It was quiet, the service was good, and the oat latte was delicious. I haven't tried the pastries yet but I definitely will - it looks so good ! I also liked the decor.

Mollo Boulangerie - 4357 R. Notre Dame O, MTL

I'm a bit sad, I don't have many pictures of this place. Actually, it was just a simple but cosy boulangerie. Really busy so I didn't take many photos because of the people (privacy, you know !!) BUT, the important part : THE PISTACHIO LATTE ?! The best I've ever had !! Made with homemade pistachio cream. An absolute (but seasonal) must-try !! And, Saint Henri is a nice area to wander around ☕️🌸

No food this time, but for some reason, no one ever told me this basilica existed ?! OMG!! Absolutely breathtaking. So many details everywhere — one of the most beautiful religious buildings I’ve seen in my life, along with the Kölner Dom (Cologne, Germany)

Ohayou Café - 145 Avenue du Mont-Royal E, MTL

This is a "japanese" coffee. You can find typical Japanese fast food like katsusando (pork sandwich), tamagosando (egg sandwich) 🥪 some Japanese curry 🍛... They also have pastries with a typical Japanese twist.

I tasted the katsusando. The bread was so good and buttery, the pork maybe a bit hard to eat but good also. And I took a caramel miso latte... so so so good. Need to drink that again !!

Café Orr - 5368 avenue Papineau, MTL

The panini apple and cheese was great. Tasty and crunchy. And the banana bread.... OMG, perfect !! The place is nice, good vibe. But it definitely needs a little clean up... and also, it's hard to find a place to sit, all seats are taken with people with laptop, even on Saturday.
