Goddddd I hate it so much when people in the metalocalypse Fandom literally GLAZE Magnus and fucking baby him when hes a literal evil fucking torturer and horrible. He's not under any control of any kind, he manipulates Toki into thinking he's his friend and then STABS AND KIDNAPS HIM along with another COMPLETELY INNOCENT music producer. And then holds them captive and tortures them with plans to kill them. He's only in a small handful of episodes, and he's a fucking crazy asshole in ALL of them!!! One of the first notable things he did was stab Nathan literally in the back and verbally abuse Pickles. Holy fuck i hate him so much. If he wasnt "attractive" everybody would hate him. If toki was a woman, everyone would hate him. All anyone does is ignore his actions and baby him. The Fandom has such an issue with glorifying character's actions just because they're attractive.

Guys ive never used TikTok a day in my life nor know how it really works so forgive me if you can literally tell w the way im gonna struggle to convey this, but ive been thinking about how Toki could potentially be so much better at using it than the rest of the band could attempt at all. Mainly bc of all his unique interests (model planes, death metal, rhythm guitar, cats, stuffies/plushies, cartoons and potentially anime, etc).
We know Dethklok’s never liked the internet, so I think even these days it makes sense that they wouldn’t have a huge social media presence considering how much the internet’s evolved since the early 00s.
But to me iterally all the other band members except Toki have a combination of personality flaws that mean they couldnt pull the kind of following or engagement online w fans the way Toki could (and might want to, as well as enjoy) imo. The rest of the band genuinely couldn’t bother or give a fuck, lbr. This is why I think TikTok would be perfect for him — *again, for as little as I actually know personally about the way it functions.
I think Charles would give pushback immediately if Toki even bothers consulting him about it first (considering how much of a PR nightmare any of the guys’ business moves or interactions w fans typically prove to be in canon). So I’m willing to bet Toki would make some random, unverified account or smth on his Dethphone and just post what he wants anyhow under a discreet account name to prolly show off the model planes in his Mordhaus room ig.
Problem is, ofc he’s not as stealthy or familiar w editing or keeping his identity 100% secret on social media, esp to do this — so naturally, he fumbles. He posts some like 40 second vid of him unboxing some expensive plane model set he’s p excited about, but it’s nothing crazy or algorithmic in a sense that it gets attention (initially) for any reason other than someone somewhere manages to clock that they’re looking at Dethklok’s Toki friggin Wartooth unboxing a model plane set on TikTok. Posting under a burner account. They share, screenshot, screen record, traverse platforms, share, repeat, etc.
Anywho, the shit goes beyond viral within the first 2 hours of the upload. Like massively so to the point where the app/site crashes bc it becomes TikTok’s most watched vid so fast or somth? (*I think it’s possible considering canonically Dethklok is the world’s seventh largest economy after all). The comment section on the op gets absolutely saturated w Dethklok fans, TikTok metalheads in general, and randoms pulled in through major trending hashtags across platforms and whatnot. Toki’s casual, unedited, nothing-burger of a post breaks the internet?? 😭
