All Hail King Scar | Closed
Captain Amelia was never much involved in current events, especially out in the city. She didn't much care about who was the boss of this or in charge of that, so long as King Triton was in good health. That was who she answered to, when she answered to anyone. The seas were treacherous and full of mysteries even Triton didn't understand, since he had such an aversion to going on them. So she and the King had an understanding: keep the seas clean, using whatever tactics you must, and the police will mostly turn the other cheek. It wasn't that Amelia was some sort of wild vigilante. She'd trained in the Royal Academy just like everyone else. It's just that Amelia had a knack for taming the untameable, and that was something you couldn't teach in school.
Anyway, Amelia knew that King Mufasa had been shot, and that was nothing to sneeze at. Such acts of tyranny threatened the whole realm, unraveling it bit by bit until it was nothing but wretched chaos. And even worse, it gave pirates the wrong idea.
She sliced at a brute's torso, her sword cutting quick and true into his side. Deep enough to leave her mark, but not enough to cause permanent damage. Behind her a cannon fired, shooting a cannon ball into the opposing ship. Somewhere in front of her she heard Mr. Arrow give the command to pull the R.L.S. Legacy away from the pirate ship. She started to move to help, but then the same brute from before took out a dagger and lunged at her.
"All hail King Scar!" he cried, and Amelia dodged the knife, grabbed him by his jacket and threw him overboard. That would probably cause permanent damage.
The attack ultimately lasted four hours, and at the end of it, when her men were bloody but victorious she sauntered over to Mr. Arrow. She'd only sustained a few knife wounds, and she propped her leg up so that he could attend to the deepest cut.
"That wasn't so bad now was it," she asked cheerfully. "We only lost two men today. I'll have to let them have extra rations tonight. Reputable performances all around. Up to snuff I'd say."
"Captain, we might have to be sparse with rations. If we're going to get to Neverland-"
"Oh, we aren't going to Neverland," she said, and gave Mr. Arrow a grin. "We're heading straight to Atlantica, then you'll be in charge of the crew while I go on a trip to Disney City."
"Why would a pirate, a feckless drudge of humanity, feel the need to proclaim his loyalty to the King's brother, who is third in line for the throne?" she asked in a low, dark tone. "What do you know about Scar, Mr. Arrow?"
The man tied off the sutures and frowned. "Not much, Captain."
"Me neither," she said. "And you know how I get when curiosity grabs ahold of me. Men!" she yelled at the crew, wobbling into a standing position. "Turn her around immediately. Atlantica, full speed!"
