Val scoffs a little in response, standing up and dusting himself off.

"It's just bad timing that you do. That's all."

“Just bad timing? If anything, you have bad timing. I had perfectly fine day before finding you.”

They crossed her arms, looking up a little at the much taller killjoy.

“Why are you bleeding, anyhow?”

“Then carry on walking, I don’t need an audience,” Val huffs in response, shaking his head.

“If you’re not concerned, don’t ask.”
