Happy Anniversary to one of the coolest games I ever played.
a tiny heist went down to rescue Rise and now he's being taken everywhere by Reid Wiseman because he's extremely important (he was supposed to be left on the craft, he has instead been adopted)
Never be afraid to take your favorite plushie everywhere. If it's cool enough for an astronaut, it's cool enough for you.
My very first tiger drawing and my latest
For those asking for context on the Rore art, I have very little as my parents don’t remember this project at all, but it’s from some school project I did in approximately first grade that involved rhyming. I did flip/stack the tiger art for the post. Originally, for some reason, I drew the roar backwards, which is kind of cute and I should have left that as-is. I really lost steam by the dinosaur drawing.
For those saying it’s fake, idk what to tell you except it’s not and I promise I have much better and more efficient ways of getting attention on the internet than making fake childhood art. I’m a little honored you think I could come up with something so whimsical at age 29 though
i learned about a stupid looking bird today and i cant stop laughing
its called a crested satinbird (cnemophilus macgregorii)
Bit late to posting this one, but happy 20th anniversary Okami!

A quick little piece I put together for today's 20th anniversary of Okami, a gem of a game that continues to age like fine wine.
If you haven't played it, you better fix that. You got time until the sequel comes out (you can/must still play it after, but I'll be mildly disappointed).
An Amy (and Issun kinda) doodle for the 20th anniversary! I'm going to try to clean up and shade this later.

『大神』 20周年
On this day twenty years ago, a stunningly beautiful game debuted: Okami! With its unique style, exhilarating soundtrack, creative gameplay, and lovable characters, this game won my heart.
I have gushed about it since 2006 and have made my fair share of fan art. Couldn't pass up painting another piece to celebrate such a big anniversary!
My favourite game in the whole universe turned 20 today. OKAMI an action adventure game originally released for the ps2 on this day back in 2006. But I would not discover it until a few years later when I was 14. Asking my mum to buy a preowned copy for $20 dollars off eBay. After seeing reviews and trying to find games for the only non handheld console I owned at the time… my then almost decade old ps2 which still thrives to this day. I played through the game for the first time during a time in my life where I was struggling the most with new life changes and my enjoyment of this game, moved me to make fanart of it as my embroidary assignment in my yr 8 textiles class.
I have a tough time definitively saying what my favourite game is, But on reflection Okami is the one piece of media I can definitely say has moved me both personally and creatively in such a way that its influences are still very clear on my art till this day. It inspired me to experiment with ink and watercolour media’s at a young age. To broaden my knowledge of the world and its stories though language studies. It also doesn’t help out of any franchise I I own more Okami merch than anything else. So I felt I had to post something to honour this special anniversary. I unfortunately didn’t have time to put this to my normal level of polish but I would like to I will turn this into fully finished piece later, but there’s such a charm to to this really raw, sketchy version that I wanted to share.
Happy 20th anniversary to the game that single-handedly shaped my teenage years 👏👏👏
