They would justify it by explaining how much she lost already. They were making food the reward for sticking to her goals. She didn't want to give herself a prize for being healthy. Greta was exposed to some great movies from the 80's and 90's. This was a very recent thing. Her aunt showed her some movies that were her favorites. Chris used to have sex with anything that would make too much eye contact with him. It wasn't something he was proud of. To be fair though, pride wasn't a strong will to power that he would operate on. However, he made a lifestyle change that reduced his sex intake dramatically.
