Thinking of ancestors, like how many never learned to read or write like I had (literacy rates were low), never had access to medicine we have and died from what we see as preventable now, never had choices from marriage to careers like some of us have now. Queer ancestors how, despite our struggles, had less choice or openness.
I hope seeing how world changed gives them peace or that after enough time reincarnation gives them another chance.
