Almost immediately, the blondeâs facial expression turned to a much more cheerful one.  âWe didnât get into any trouble.  We got through things just fine, in fact.â  The brunetteâs facial expression seemed to hold a bit of doubt but Silver did his best to suppress his feelings.   âWould you know aâŠâ Silver started before pausing mid-sentence.  The brunette was determined to get to the point and ask if she knew a way out but he hesitated at the last moment.
Toriel looked between the two. There was little doubt of her confusion.Â
âWould I know a what? I know lots of monsters in the underground-did one of them try to play a prank?â It was hard to tell if she misheard them, or if she was deliberately trying to change the subject.Â
âYou should come inside and eat. Itâs been a long day so far!â
Almost immediately, the young man tried to ask the question again.  âWould you know of a wayâŠâ  The blonde seemed confused by Torielâs response.  However, just as she was about to tell the goat monster what her brother met, Toriel had already brought up heading inside and eating.
The blonde shook her head and sighed, âAlright, unless Silver can finally complete his sentence, I suppose thereâs not really anything else to do, for now.  Although we will eventually need to figure a way out of this part of the Underground if we are to reach the Surface once more.  We have to find a way off of thisâŠ.  Well, we have places to go.â
Torialâs eyes seamed to dim, and her ears drooped a little more. Lying-lying was difficult for all monsters. Yet, she had more then most. These were subtle changes. Small things, that the two keyblade wielders could easily have missed.Â
âThe surface-well, with the barrier, thereâs really no way back up there, unfortunately. Whatever places you had to go-well, it would be impossible to go to them now. Iâm, iâm sorry, children.â
