BBQ Chicken
I’ve been busy at work lately. Feeling super lazy. Haven’t really been cooking until tonight.
Tonight I made Crock Pot BBQ Chicken!
Ingredients: 5 Chicken Legs (with or without skin) 1 Bottle of Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce Original 1/2 Bottle Texas Pete 2 tablespoons Grape Jelly 4 tablespoons Ketchup pinch of salt and pepper
This recipe is really easy to make. I would say before starting make sure that your chicken is defrosted. Probably makes life easier.
TO cook, add in your chicken legs into the crock pot. I left them skin on cause I like it but you can cut it off if you prefer. All you have to do is add the entire bottle of bbq sauce, add 1/2 bottle of texas pete (or more if you prefer more heat), 2 tablespoons of grape jelly, 4 tablespoons of ketchup. and a pinch of salt and pepper.
I cooked it for two hours on high in the crock pot but I’m sure you could do 4-5 on low. Overall, this chicken turned out very tender and delicious. Maybe next time I’ll add a tad more texas pete just because once it cooked, the spice cooked down a little more than I thought it would. Still, so delicious and I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow!
