ROLEPLAY INFO :

Most of my roleplays are more dark than light. I love drama and all that, angst is such a favorite I’ll do anything for it!

Please be patient when it comes to replies, I am a busy man and have adhd so I may get distracted and forget to reply! As well as I have a job, so replies may vary during those times.

Be open to short, one or so paragraphs, replies every now and then. I get burnt out pretty quick when always having to write out a lot, especially when I’m not feeling it. Although I mostly always mirror, I do sometimes tend to scale down on how much I write.

Open communication!! I can’t stress this enough, I would love to be able to talk out of character no matter what its about!

I don’t do double ups (though it depends, if you strike my interest for a double up I may give in).

Alternate batty daddy au where robert contacts victor after the coma

Sonar *happiest the team (other than malevola) have ever seen him: good news everyone! I didn't get ghosted he was in a coma

Just realised I forgot to give these two a meet cute first introduction. I feel like they met over something super simple; like one of Victor's trading accounts got hacked, and he found Robert doing freelance hacking jobs. Then Victor asked him out, and Robert was like "Yeah, sure." and boom.

Prior to Robert's fateful night at the steel mill, him and Victor had an argument. Victor had planned a fantastically elaborate date night for them both, and Robert blew it off for "work reasons". The verbal fight got a little heated; Victor demanded to know why Robert was so closed off about his personal life, while Robert accused Victor of wasting his potential on a petty criminal lifestyle.

Both thought they'd sleep the anger off. Maybe have some make-up whoopie.

But then Robert went silent.

Robert knew the moment he woke up in the hospital post-explosion, that he needed to call Victor. Poor dude probably thought he got dumped.

At SDN; Sonar just buzzing/purring all day like a cat on the nip.

Eventually the Z Team's dispatcher gets so annoyed that they ask why Sonar is blowing out his mic.

Sonar: "You know that guy I told y'all ghosted me just before Valentine's Day?" Malevola: "You mean Robert?" Flambae: "Is he dead? Or dating a loser?" Sonar: "Better! He's in the hospital." Invisigal: "Lol." Z Team Dispatcher: "Being excited for someone getting hurt isn't very heroic of you." Sonar: "No! You don't get it! He was in a coma. Legit, verifiable, medical COMA. Since before Valentines!" Malevola, realising: "Oh shit! So he didn't dump you?" Sonar: "He didn't! He contacted me from the hospital, he woke up like a few hours ago." Coupe: "Why aren't you at his side right this moment?" Sonar, thoughtful pause: "You're right! I should be there for him! We got a lot of catching up to do!" Prism: "Send me receipts from the hospital, ok? I wanna see if this real or he pulling a master-class con on you." Z Team Dispatcher: "Sonar, if you leave early, you'll be deducted points-" Z Team: "BOO!!" "Booo!" "Bitch!" Punch Up: "Let the man go! He had his heart broken by that lad's disappearance!" Malevola: "He was literally so sad during our last bender, he couldn't even do a rebound at the club. Bro just went megabat mode and started crying. He's going."

Robert gives Chase the heads up that his boyfriend will be visiting soon, and said boyfriend is a hybrid so non't be too surprised.

Chase: "Robert, as long as he treats you right, I'm fine with any motherfucker willing to put up with you." Robert, in hospital bed: "Thanks unc." (*recovery room door bursts open to reveal Victor, dishevelled and covered in romantic gifts*)

Victor, nervously: "Hi...?" :D Chase, aghast: "HIM!?" Robert: "Wait, you've met?" Chase: "I work with this cokehead! He's one of the fuck ups with the Phoenix Programme!" Robert: "Holy shit. Vic, you actually joined the programme?" Victor, proud: "I did!" Robert: "Did it... have anything to do with my unexplained disappearance?" Victor, makes so-so gesture with hand: "Mmm... Kinda?" Robert: (*raised brow*) Victor, sucks in nervous breath: "And I... I remembered that fight we had. That one about me using my smarts for good and shit. How I have so much potential And I thought since you disappeared before the most romantic night of the year, that it was the thing that made you... not want to be with me... anymore." (*getting choked up*) Robert, realising: "Oh my g- Victor! I had no intention of leaving you that night. You really put so much effort into our date but... shit, how am I supposed to explain this without blowing my cover?" Victor, ears perking: "Cover? What are you talking about?" Chase, curt glare: "Don't you dare." Robert, whispering: "I'm a superhero." Victor, ear twitches: "...Okay. That kinda explains the weird work hours and taking off in the middle of the night. But why- wait!" (*calculating, snaps fingers at the answer*) "Wait wait wait... you're fucking Mecha Man." Robert: (*quiet nod*) Victor, blinks in thought: "You got blown up." Robert: "Yeah..." Victor, worried: "Are you... super hurt?" Robert: "Eh, about as much as a midair explosion, and falling about a mile out of the sky does to a turtle. The corrective surgeries were the real bitch." Victor: (*walks over and places his head on Robert's lap*) "I swear, I'm not letting you out of ear-sight for like... until you get sick of me." Robert, petting Victor's head: "That'll be a while." (*Victor and Robert share a quiet moment together. Chase decides to "leave the lovebirds alone", despite his disapproval of the man-bat. The only sounds audible are Victor's purring, and the beep of the machines plugged into Robert.*) Victor: (*his ear against Robert's stomach twitches*) Victor: "You got a pacemaker or something, Bobby?" Robert: "Not to my knowledge. Why?" Victor: "Cus' I'm hearing more than one heartbeat..." (*both look at each other with shock and slight excitement*)

The ensuing update to the rest of the Z Team is legendary.

I’m a 20-year-old writer looking for roleplay partners interested in diving into a Dispatch: The Game RP. Specifically, I’m hoping to find someone willing to play a Sonar against my Robert.

I’m only interested in writing with partners who are 18 or older.

When it comes to writing style, I stick to third person and past tense, and I typically fall somewhere around the literate range. Though my length tends to fluctuate depending on the scene, the energy, and what my partner gives me—I’m a natural mirrorer, so if you like sending longer, more descriptive replies, I can match that easily, and if you prefer something shorter, more rapid responses, I can adapt to that as well!

I only roleplay through Tumblr DMs, as that’s where I’m most comfortable and where I keep everything organized. I’m also able to reply pretty consistently, usually at least three times a day, often more depending on the flow of the story and how excited I am about the scene.

This will be a plot-focused RP, but I’m definitely smut-friendly, as long as it fits the characters and story. All characters involved will be 18+. I’m extremely flexible with plot and tone, so whether you have a specific storyline in mind or you prefer brainstorming together, I’m happy either way.

Kinda weak for a soulmate AU where you can read your soulmate’s thoughts when you first talk to each other.

Flambae says that's bullshit, because if that's the case, his soulmate is totally ignoring him.

“Or maybe you don't have thoughts, period,” Prism always teased him about that, and she gets a gentle pinch to the cheek in return, everytime.

The third option would be: he's not supposed to exist long enough to meet his. But he always knew that, so it's not a secret.

But the first theory is kinda disproven when he reunites with Mecha Man, at the bar. It goes bloody, which is what he expected.

What he didn't fucking expect is for that low voice to match his exact thought, at the exact same time.

‘Dickhead.’

They both freeze. Perfect sync. And suddenly, all dizziness and pain and memories pause, replaced with pure adrenaline. Flambae turns around, eyes a little wide.

“…Did you say something?”

‘I’m giving you an out. Take it.’

“Nope. Didn't say anything.”

The common understanding is: The universe fucked up. That's not our problem.

But the universe is stubborn. Because of course Robert is gonna have to Dispatch Flambae. Of course he does. And of course the daily thoughts are:

‘Damn, that pigeon looks trusting as fuck. I could take it home. Maybe. Like a sidekick. Like Robin. Yeah. ‘

‘Maybe Bob-Bob is like, an ex spy or something. He's smart. Smart people are spies. I better watch spy kids to make sure.’

‘I should stop to get these assholes something to eat.’

‘I wonder what he's doing right now.’

who KNOWS what he did to robert after sonar/coupe hit him and the screen went black btw... did the fight go on longer than we saw? did robert come to a few times and try to escape and have to be put down again?? man... unbelievable that shroud had his minions take robert's shirt off and string him up from the ceiling and even let the phoenix program reject get a few licks in before FINALLY giving into temptation and getting his hands on him...

Don't feel too bad for Flambae. He started this. Robert's finishing it. Kidding.

Having fun exploring their fighting dynamic for my fanfic.

In my story, Robert is self-destructive and seeks out fights for pain to atone for being a failed mentor to Visi. So at some point Chad has to physically restrain him because of course he does and Robert surprises him by getting out of his hold. I'm still exploring how that happens.

So it's been interesting because obviously Flambae is so much stronger than Robert and has powers, so I feel like to keep it even as a playing field I want to show how Robert will fight back if he really wants to, and he can win. So for the spicier moments it will feel more equal. Does that makes sense? IDK it's 3 AM for me.

Also since Robert implies he's double jointed in the game, I just thought it would be hilarious if Flambae got him in a really good hold and he just, disengages by doing something crazy like dislocating his shoulder or his leg can bend in a way he doesn't anticipate, and kicks his ass before Flambae realizes what is happening.
