Has Danny always been this big of a dick?
When I think of him, I love the character. I donāt think of him as a dick. I know a lot of people see it [that way] and I understand why they do; they have every right to. To me, itās like, what heās done, his beliefs and all the things that heās said, they are some things that people arenāt a fan of, but he seems really real to me.
I think heās always been a guy whoās thought things that are unpopular. Heās always said things that are going to be a little controversial. At times heās been not very feminist, but what has been nice about the character is that heās always really challenged Mindy.
[He] is a charismatic person, who challenges you, you think is your level, who makes you a better person in a lot of different ways ⦠itās complicated. He has a lot of bad qualities too and so does Mindy. Sheās said some even worse stuff than him.
Do you think that Mindy and Danny will ever get to a point where they can be friends?
I think that they are friends now. They have a friendship thatās very fraught. Thereās a lot of stuff that they do to each other that is very toxic, but there are certain things that they turn to each other for that they wouldnāt turn to anyone else for. They also both think the other is a good parent, which is something that we donāt talk in the show about a lot because itās not funny to be like, āHey, Danny, I think youāre a good father.ā Thatās kind of what redeems them a lot in the show, is that regardless of how they are with each other romantically, they both know that they are good parents.
So why arenāt the fans anti Ben because he isnāt Danny?
Ben is a decent guy, likeable and charming. Oh yeah, and I have given up on Danny who isnāt really Danny just his evil twin Lanny and Danny is dead HEADCANON

You DO realize this is a fictional character, right?
Just checking.
Iām judging Mindy Lahiri (a fictional character whose feelings Iām not hurting) as another mom. Being away from your kid all day long is hard for most working moms, especially when theyāre so little. Bedtime can be a real bonding time with babies. I just canāt fathom why she would leave her kid with a nanny all day long, then not take those few precious minutes she has with him at night to actually be his mommy. Especially when she IS a single mom, meaning she doesnāt have Leo at home with her every night. Handing him off to the nanny for bedtime is a little too hands-off for my taste.
I said nothing about Dannyās parenting style. Heās probably not much better. What I AM saying is that his points during their fight in Parent Trap were spot on. Though to be fair, Mindy did warn him that she wanted a million nannies to take care of their kids. Guess that wasnāt just a joke after allā¦
Do I realise this is a fictional character? Iām aware, yes. And since you, too, are, you have to understand your experience as a mum has nothing to do with this fictional character. Not everything has to be relatable. I also wasnāt talking about Dannyās parenting style either. Only about how he didnāt want Mindy to be ambitious when he still got to be a doctor. Anyway. Letās agree to disagree.
why does jody feel entitled that mindy owes him something?? she doesnt owe you jack shit bye.
