So I have been working on a full holiday pic. But I’ve not been feeling well the past couple of weeks (autoimmune and kidney infection kicking my butt, also my daughter had noro virus twice) so I not sure if it will be done for Christmas. So here is a sneak peek. Please excuse my spotty inking and coloring. 😄

Okay, so @overheard-at-star-command wrote an awesome fic called Right-hand Woman and in it, Mira likes shopping in second hand stores. I headcanon Mira is a vintage clothes kind of girl, so of course I had to draw her in a great outfit. She seems like she would appreciate classy, well-tailored clothes.

I reimagined her vacation outfit in “Large Target.”

I’ve got so many Mira WIPs on my iPad. A few relating to fics I love. I will get around to drawing other characters, but for now, I just like drawing her (and my daughter likes putting the flat colors in).

She’s really helped me find my drawing again.

Mira’s always been one of my favorites, she just may be my favorite ever- she wants to help people, is a Princess, deals with science and engineering, is snarky, deals with addiction, family issues, torn between duty to the rangers and her people, boyfriend is a different race, not terribly impressed by the men around her, advocates for her boundaries, is often smarter and more emotionally in tune with situations and the feelings of others. She also can walk through walls and read minds.

Mira’s helping me create. I’ve got headcanons, Fic ideas, and more artwork up my sleeve. I tried making my own doll which I think turned out well. My 9 year old likes her because she is a space princess. This is all good.

(She never got a toy, so I made one. The irony was that the company that made the toys was Mattel, which made a fortune off of “girls can do anything.”)
