MOTHERCODE Il progetto nasce da un riferimento alla cultura islamica, nella quale non è consentita la raffigurazione dei volti sacri, letta attraverso un aspetto tecnologico: il codice binario. L'immagine della madonna che ho scelto viene quindi rappresentata tramite codice binario, per cui è vista come una sequenza di numeri che una volta decodificati riportano all'immagine originaria.

The project started with a reference to the Islamic culture, which is not allowed the depiction of the Holy faces, accessed through a technological aspect: the binary code. The image of the Virgin that I chose is then represented using binary code, which is seen as a sequence of numbers that once decoded back to the original image.
