How much did he have? Just enough to create the desired illusion he supposed, but he wasn’t about to give it much more thought. “That’s fine! I’m sure Toshiro will do it, so he can just have your vacation instead~” Such a good kid! Well, when he wasn’t taking Isshin’s food anyway.

Well he supposed she was getting there! “No deal~ You do those and you get your vacation-- if you want tomorrow off you do these.” He gestures to another pile, shrugging. He likes to think he’s a fair sort of guy, the sort who only blackmails a little bit~

“Why can’t you do it yourself?” She despises men! “You know–you’re overworking me and Toshiro! The audacity! The outrage! The discredit it does to my shopping bonuses for being a loyal customer–I’m going to lose them now!”

“This is just a classic case of ‘life’s not fair’! That’s just how it is sometimes~” He’s blaze about the whole thing, evidently totally unphased by her bluster and complaints which really was nothing knew when it came to him. Their squad was a funny one, more akin to family when it came to it and this was part of the parcel-- a captain who never really quite acted like one.
