did you know that the voice actor for dash in the latino dub of danny phantom also voiced hal jordan - one of the most well known of the green lanterns - in the latino dub of justice league: war? 

… no? well, now you do!

and since hal jordan is also a star player for his high school football team in dc super hero girls, i had to draw something based on that

the design and lore are based on puella magi madoka magica (it’s the only magical girl show I’m familiar with hehe)

king/prince theme (reference to ghost king danny)

has space themed magic

the back of his cape has stars and crescent moons at the bottom

scythe because it’s a weapon commonly associated with death

soul gem is located on his left hand as a reference to how he activated the ghost portal with his left hand in the show

maybe he’s half witch? idk that sounds like an interesting concept to explore

the best fanfiction you've ever read was written by a woman in her 40s before she made dinner for her kids. it was written by a teenager after school when they should've been studying for a history test. and a barista came up with the idea while they cleaned the espresso machine and busser fact-checked it on their break and the post-doc edited between writing grant proposals and the nurse apologized for typos in the notes after a long shift and behind every drabble and one-shot and multi-chapter fic there is a person with a wonderful and interesting and chaotic life and it is such a privilege that we get to be apart of it because they decided to do this thing we all share, for fun.

So I did a thing... again. @zillychu had the brilliant idea of Danny having his tail always "active" in ghost form and it looks phenomenal!

I had time this weekend and I was curious how their character design works in 3D. I also added the glove and boot designs that can be seen below the pose.

Maybe we can add some wings from the Wing AU and then we have something like a Dragonkin-Danny, lol.
