Updated profiles for my Glee Swap AU. I've probably developed a whole series in of itself from this in my head, so I'll see if I can get any of it on paper. Will work on the rest of the group too.

The post about the designs for Player, Carmen, and Gray confirms how ridiculously ambiguous Player's age is, It's almost an inside joke for the fandom

Is he a child? a pre-teen? a teenager? a grown ass man? Who knows?? And I'm pretty sure his own team/friends don't know neither...

lol yeah, he suffers from that character design stasis ig I'll call it.

I definitely recognize it as a purposful branding thing and the unfortunate result of keeping the same design for a character you don't feel the need or have the budget to update is that he looks stunted by the end. Especially when his final line is something along the lines of "I'll always stay the same for you." Bleh

Like I'm also questioning why they didnt even bother switching his clothes or something to signify a transition. But I think because his origins were always an audience placeholder, his development fell through in the very end.

idk if anyone wants an in depth tutorial on the style from me, so i won't give one unless someone messages me directly.

But one tip is visualizing every body part like a shape cut from colored paper and layered on top of each other, is kind of how i go about it.

if you have clip studio paint, the lasso fill tool is so nice. It makes me visualize shape differently and my art feels more dimensional compared to how i'd normally draw (lines and coloring w/in the lines)

I haven't finished drawing them for the monster AU, but I know what they are.

Hey, free media literacy lesson: Shadowsan and Dexter are the same character. "Hating" either one is missing the point of the story the show was telling.

Both men were "evil" and eventually were made to realize the error in their ways and worked to fix it. The only difference is that Dexter died before he could see it through and we never got to see his before, regardless of his after. His death was what drove Carmen and Shadowsan's narrative.

If you like Shadowsan more, it's because we actually got to see his journey to making things right. We barely got to see Dexter's character, so it's natural to not be as attached to him.

Imagine it.

Player doesn't want Carmen to know he's been hanging out with Graham

Carmen doesn't want Graham to know she knows Player and reveal his identity

Graham doesn't want her to know he's been hanging out with a younger man who shares a lot of characteristics with her because he has issues yet to be examined and dissected.

So they just walk away after making 3 way eye contact

Vlad joins Fenton family traditions after getting therapy (shocking to literally everyone) and making amends w Jack and Maddie. So now college age Danny gets to deal with dear ol’ uncle Vlad every winter break. And their dynamic is still petty and even a little fun at times. That is, until this year Danny pulls Vlad as his giftee for secret Santa.

Honestly he procrastinates until the last minute and his roommate gives him the WORST idea but really? He had nothing else. So yeah, that’s how he ends up giving Vlad a stack of five ‘Danny Fenton tickets: You get 1 free activity or request with/from Danny Fenton no questions asked.’ Which he just thinks he’ll use to humiliate him or something stupid so why not?

But when Vlad cashes in his first ticket he’s surprised that all Vlad wants is a hug. A genuine hug (which lasts like super long). Danny starts to feel his own heart in his ears because he’s been hugging Vlad for the last five minutes and to try and make it less awkward he rubs his back but that makes it more awkward for HIM when Vlad’s core starts to purr.
