Good news — I’ve regained access to this account and can now send and receive messages again. I’m truly grateful to reconnect with you all.
Our GoFundMe campaign is already live, and we’ve received some support from kind and generous people — but unfortunately, it’s still not enough to cover our basic needs.
With the Rafah crossing closed, our hope now is not evacuation, but simply survival. My wife, our 2.5-year-old son Ahmed, and I are living in a tent, enduring scorching heat, food shortages, no clean water, and very little comfort or safety.
And recently — in the middle of all this — we welcomed a newborn son, Mahmoud. He is so lovely, so innocent, and so full of life. But it breaks my heart to see him start his life in these harsh conditions. All I want is to give him and his brother a safe place to grow up.

Ahmed Khader's family ( @ahmedpalestine )
Ahmed is 29 years old from Northern Gaza. He is currently living in Belgium, where he travelled to pursue higher education. His family of 12 people - 6 adults and 6 children under 16 - are trapped in Gaza, surviving the most unbearable conditions. This includes but is not limited to constant displacement, bombings, starvation and disease.
Among these family members is Ahmed's little brother Abdullah (Aboodi, for short) who is only four years old. At such a young age he helps his family gather scrap wood for fire, when he should be having a safe and carefree childhood.
Ahmed has shared with me that his family is currently at the Al-Maghazi camp, which is an area along the border and extremely dangerous. His family can hear the movement of tanks from inside their tents, especially at night.
Ahmed has recently lost his cousin Ahmed who was targeted by a plane missile while fetching water for his family. Ahmed was only 31 years old and married with three children, and had just welcomed a baby girl to the world only two months ago. Please take the time to read about who Ahmed was, and the life he had before this genocide.
To evacuate Gaza, they need to raise €45,000.
For essential expenses like transportation and shelter, they need an additional €10,000.
Therefore, they need a total of €55,000.
They are currently at €3,699 / €55,000

Tawfik is passionate about software engineering and was studying programming at Al-Azhar University in Gaza. However, the genocide has made continuing his higher education impossible in Gaza, so he must do so at a university in Egypt.
Each year the tuition fees add up to $6,000, which is a heavy financial burden not only for someone so young but also living under the horrific conditions of a genocide. I understand the situation is changing rapidly, and @/dlxxv-vetted-donations has more up-to-date information about the tuition fees, deadlines and short term goals. As you can see, Tawfik has already paid application and reservation fees to the school, which is non-refundable.

The Almoghrabi family
This family consists of Amjad ( @amjad20011 ), his wife Rasmia and their son Ahmed who was only two and a half years old at the start of the genocide. Their campaign has slowed down CONSIDERABLY - as of queueing this post, the second to last donation was 2 DAYS AGO. They urgently need to raise €25,000 for their evacuation from Gaza.
Amjad says they have been displaced 4 times as of this post, and he himself has lived through 4 different wars. It is painful to imagine his son suffering the same experience, and he desperately doesn't want that to happen. Here is another post showing the life little Ahmed had before the genocide - look at how happy and normal his life was. This is how his life should be.
Their family, like everyone in Gaza, experiences a lack of food, water, medicine, and the constant fear of losing their loved ones or their own lives. In their GFM it explains their experience of living cramped in a tent with their cousins, 10 people in a single room. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported my family during these incredibly difficult times. After our home was destroyed in an airstrike, we have been displaced multiple times and now we're forced to live in a tent, facing the harsh cold and rain of winter, with little to no access to basic necessities.
