I made it to Lux Helsinki a few days later. Unsuprisingly, the lantern park was my favourite.

I was supposed to go see Lux Helsinki, but I was not feeling that good about crowds that day. So I went on my own walk around Helsinki and found some nice lights outside the event.

We didn’t have that many sunsets in December of 2017 (because we had a total of 16 hours of sunshine in Helsinki during December), but there were some nice ones in 2016.

My bird pal hang around for the winter 2016-2017 and helped me finish my goddamn thesis. Then they came back almost a year after to help me get a job. Such a helpful pal.

Last winter there were some lovely snowy days in November. Had to run out with an old Nikon I borrowed from my parents and walk around. I still find it weird and hilarious that I live in Helsinki and there are places like this in this city. I love it.
