This post must have been made before but I'm relatively late to the fandom lol

Anyway. Something about Rocky being a spider, and the Blip A being kind of spiderweb-like, and him hand-knitting the xenonite. Something about Grace Earth knitted plushie and his quilted blanket that represents humanity's support for him. Something about knitting and threading webs of understanding, connection and mutual aid.

sometimes i think about the fact that when stratt finally gets ahold of the video diaries, her hair is of course already graying, her skin looser, eyes wiser but much more exhausted.

just like everyone else around her who knew grace.

carl’s hair is gray, there’s bags under his eyes. the agents and the engineers have prominent lines on their faces. the diplomats are balding.

but she watches grace. she hears his laugh that doesn’t have the strain that hers does nowadays.

he is as young as the night, as warm as the sun. just as witty as she remembers.

as brave as the day he ran away.

as soft as the day she killed him.

at least i never have to hear you say, “i told you so.”

Rocky picking up human mannerisms, like turning to face who you're talking to, but once settled on Erid, Grace starts picking up Eridian mannerisms...

He taps his foot or knocks on a surface (wall/table) when he asks a question, does jazz hands when he's excited, hums in certain notes like he's heard many Eridians do when they're thinking...
