Starting the stream! Sorry, I couldn't stream yesturday, cos I've been to tired and it just wasn't a good idea to stream as scheduled. www.twitch.tv/amnechan
Hopefully It'll reach out someone. We need a unity dev. help for a relatively small project, most art part is there — level, models (prepared), some animation, mechanics concepts, UI. Not for profit, purely out of interest in game dev. and art. It's a modern day esoteric horror (fnaf similar in some way gameplay). Maybe someone will find interesting what they see, have some spare time and enjoy making something tough and artistic in programming, also just a nice friend-shaped person. If you are interested, write to my email ([email protected]) or here in DMs, communication mostly by discord.

I upped the price significantly since it's really just not aligned with the efforts, if you're still interested contacts are written on last picture or in my bio.

Kreazot-Maks - Transition To Burnout
Compositional sketches, I'll make new price list a little later and open commissions. The price rised up, it's more fair to the amount of strength and time i spend.

It was very hard to make really for me, i had to code it a little as well, it constantly didn't work right, even making builds for web and win were a headache. In any case, I'm proud about the result.

Blue stone near the imperial capital regional city Wishing everyone happy holidays, and beforehand happy new year!)
I'll leave the work process here in an additional post too.
I like seeing other artist's process but rarely post it myself. There're lots of screenshots though, and I will write commentary to it, maybe someone find it interesting. From the beginning, it was meant to be as a test to try Unreal engine, and supposed to take a month of work
I don't know why i underestimated timing that badly, making a character's very rough sculpt — maybe took a month but a bunch of trashy robots, dancing in three circles, scattered around is not a month of work to do well, but yeah, I'm not in command of my heart. Posing them in the engine would have been difficult, by the way, I thought about making a simulation, but it wasn't a great idea, as so I just took a mannequin from engine and exported it to Maya as references, changed uvs, then exported it back as meshes. To be fair I could just use mannequin for him too, but i wanted to finally elaborate him a little more.
Like, i'd say, it's interesting to see how the design forming along the 6 years!
I did two renders — one in Maya(arnold), another one in Unreal engine, basically i just tried to turn the settings on maximum in Unreal to understand whats to what and how it works.
In Maya, render passes are usually most important to me, all settings like bloom, blur, fog etc. is easier to make in photoshop with the same render passes. And if any color correction is needed, I simply select the necessary objects with the material/object id pass, etc. I didn't render with render passes in Unreal, tough. But i did very tricky things, basically just put on top of the engine render pic speculars, reflections, emissive etc. from Arnold render.
in unreal i had to fake some reflections heavily, since the result wasn't as I expected, but i'd say it somewhat gives closest result to my style, maybe just because it easier to control the enviroment there. Fairly speaking all the process further was just photobashing and overpainting. But to mention, i did a bunch of renders of these robot zombies from my previous projects and used it as part of photobashing process.
it's relate a lot by lore, but they are not exactly the same, in death and loneliness these are ghosts, here more like zombies. Generally it's hard to give proper examples, it's not really these or that, mb rotten memories within different timing? But it sounds quite abstract.
Settings for the picture itself are like this, heh. Such a pixel monumentalism, to live forever on your drive and mind.
