The thing that separates man from animal is the ability to accessorize.
Do you know about any other original titles for any Hole songs? I know about sugar coma but that's about it
Indeed...
Sugarteeth was the original title for Plump
P-Girl was the original title for Softer, Softest
Baby was the original (working) title for I Think That I Would Die
Nobody Here was a live Hole improv from 99 which kind of became But Julian (CL solo song)
Evil Woman Blues was the original name for Life Despite God (CL solo)
Sugar Coma / 'I Slept With The Devil' was the original title for Boys On The Radio (before it got re-worked for CS of course)
'I Am' was kind of the working title for Doll Parts (when CL played it for the first time ever on November 6, 1991, after only finishing the song a few hours before, there weren't many lyrics - just a melody and a guitar and her saying 'I am...' repeatedly - it's on YouTube - the next night there were more lyrics added and it was then named Doll Parts [original lyric had 'blue veins' instead of 'big veins as well as 'k stands for knife'])
Use Once & Destroy was the original title for the album which became Celebrity Skin. Courtney wanted to call it Holy War and Eric wanted to call it Sugar Coma. Both were nixed in favour of Celebrity Skin because Courtney had 'touched so much of it.'
It's Closing Soon is the title for what we probably see on setlists as Drunk In Rio
