Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defences, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love.

Her future..

Eloise went to Ireland to visit her aunt and her mother’s grave, but she also ran into Nate there, at first she acted like always did towards him cold, distant and sarcastic. She didn’t cared that he apologised over and over for what happened all those years before. But then he said that he was contemplating a job offer in America and then she wouldn’t see him ever again that something inside her broke free, she didn’t want him gone. Never see him again was the worst thing she could imagine.

She went to see him just as he was about to leave and confessed that she loved him still. They got married months later. Though it hurt to see many of her friends end up in Azkaban, she and Nate did a good job acting like they knew nothing.

She got pregnant with twins Aleksander and Elizabeth, and she said she wouldn’t get pregnant ever again. Still she was a good and loving mother. She and Nate decided that though they would still teach their kids many of the rules of their society, blood purity wouldn’t be something they would force down their throats. Years later she searched for her father and finally reunited.

She again stood away from the second war.

“I think it’s understandable do fancy him. Well at least considering only his outward appearance.” Laughing Addie shrugged. “Oh, believe me, El, I can’t stand him neither. But if it was just his body without his annoying personality, yes I would definitely go for him. I mean, we would have really pretty children, right?” She was only joking, obviously.

“Okay, I’ll remember you of this words if you two are going to marry one day. So better have your diamond necklaces ready because I’ll get to chose one.” Not that she already knew that for sure, but there was definitely a small chance that this might actually come true. “Yes, it is. I mean, life could be so much easier if you could have sex with you male friends and still be friends. Without any complications, you know?” The blond one sighed deeply. After all, she knew exactly what she was taking about, even though she tried to hide it.

“Well I assume that the fact that his family is part of the sacred twenty eight, he’s an only child and the sole heir also attracts girls. Especially those that don’t have as good families as we do.” She laughed before she smiled again. “Oh I do think you’d make pretty children, yes.”

“You know I love them but I do stick to me word. Besides is not like it will happen.” She nodded slightly and “Well, i guess some people can. But I do think in the end someone ends up getting feelings for the other and that can ruin everything.” She looked at the blonde carefully. “Addie, have you...thought of having sex with Julian?”
