Gray's Lilies (Lilium Grayi)

The vulnerable lily, which grows only in North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee. Gray's Lily is a rare, protected wildflower found in high-elevation Appalachian wetlands. This lily grows only at high mountain elevations in moist meadows, bogs and seepages.This plant is the only lily native to NC that is pollinated by hummingbirds.
