{ pulling up with a small team of three, they were armed and ready. bradley had been itching for payback since he learned about the attack on the restaurant; he lost a couple good friends thanks to pearce and his crew. being more of a shoot-first guy made it difficult sometimes to follow a leader who played the smarter card, striking only when it would deliver the most impact. over the three weeks, strings were pulled and here they were in an abandoned warehouse waiting for the enemies arrival. lured by a false business proposition. they were placed strategically in and outside of the warehouse, two guys in the main room playing the part until the merch was in place. the two guys posing as dealers drew fire and killed the first two of peace’s crew. after the shots were heard, it was a free for all. one by one, bodies dropped, bullets and fists flew. }
bradley moved from corner to corner, dropping anyone who wasn’t wearing a black hoodie. gun in hand, he turned the corner and almost pulled his trigger only to find his hands and full body froze. “fuck. what the fuck are you doing here–” his eyes bore into his lovers, shock and desperation all over his face. it didn’t take long for him to realise there was no other reason she would be here, and suddenly he felt angry. betrayed. gun still pointing at her head, bradley knew he needed to shoot. in the background he could hear his guys shouting clear, gathering themselves to leave and calling out to him. “just- fuck,” he whispered, before calling out. “i’m good, do what you need to do and go to the van.” he waited until the steps moved away before finally lowering the gun. “say nothing. - meet me at the hotel tonight.” they had planned to do so anyway, but now it was more of a demand. he took one last look at her before exiting the room and jogging out to the car, praying he wasn’t about to regret letting her go. @amoretsundere
If she had squeezed just a little more, then she would’ve sent a bullet flying towards Bradley’s face. It was a good thing her reflexes were quick, but to process the fact that she was holding a gun to his head and vice versa? That was going to take a little longer. Sienna had made it a point for so long to create a life for herself that seemed as legit and simple as any other normal person. You know? The ones that weren’t involved in crime and didn’t go to shady business deals, strapped up with a gun and more than willing to pull the trigger to make sure she was the one coming out alive. However, she had never intended to get romantically involved with someone. The fact that she had, had been a big deal in itself. She was sure now, someone up above or down below was laughing at her now for thinking she had could a small little piece of something outside of it all. Dumb girl. It took her a few seconds even after he had lowered his gun, to lower her own and even then she didn’t say anything. All she could do was stare at him, hardly able to fully take in what was happening. Even the voices of the others had somehow fallen away, his sounded like he was being muffled and just like that he was gone from her sight.
With the time she had to wrap her mind around what happened and let it all try to sink in, it really meant that she was able to rile herself up. She wasn’t sure how to react so naturally she fell onto and held on tightly to her anger. She was lying too, she knew that but she couldn’t help what was bubbling up inside of her. She kept the gun on her and now with how much more alert she was, when she entered the room she scoped out the whole place like she was expecting to find something. Part of her was convincing herself that he knew what he was doing, he must’ve, right? But then again, he looked as surprised as she had to have a gun pointed at each other. Or was that just another deceitful play? She couldn’t be sure anymore. When she heard someone outside the door she quickly moved to the side furthest from the entrance, her gun by her side after fighting with herself between putting it away or pointing it, “You’ve got five minutes to explain what the fuck that was all about and who the hell you are.”
