20.04.2019. I worked on my English ISU and finished getting down all the quotes I had in mind for my seminar and removing those that I thought wasn’t that important. I’m so happy with this little setup since I can watch vids while doing my work instead of getting distracted by one, and I don’t have to crack my neck looking back and forth to my book -(-)v(-)-

I could do with some online work for the next few months as I’m going to be moving around a lot so I thought I’d try something here.

I will proofread original stories, fanfics, academic essays of all levels, résumés, cover letters, and anything else you may have.

If a fanfic is from a fandom I’m familiar with then I would be happy to help with beta-reading, characterisation, etc.

Pricing would depend on the word count, turnaround time, and what you are able to afford. I’m flexible and happy to negotiate :)

I have extensive knowledge of English grammar as part of my training for my TEFL certificate and I’ve written some/read a lot of fic so I’m familiar with different styles.

I could also have a go at translating short (<5000) fics/other types of text from Spanish or French into English.

This time I'm voting - European elections

This time I'm voting in the European elections on 23 - 26 May 2019. Are you?

European Parliament elections are coming up next month. They always have extremely low voter turnout, and I imagine that a lot of British people won’t bother this year since we’re leaving anyway so it doesn’t seem important, right? Wrong! In (what I think is) the best case scenario, we get another referendum and don’t leave the EU. In this case, we want MEPs that we trust & support since we’ll be stuck with them for 5 years. Even if we don’t get another referendum, we’re here until Halloween anyway and should be cooperative for the duration. We need to stop hard-Brexiters from getting elected so that they can cause havoc from inside the EU. If we’re going to leave, then we should at least leave with some small amount of dignity.

And if you aren’t British, then vote because voting is important, and there’s an alarming amount of far-right politics sweeping across Europe right now and you can help to keep it out of the European Union!
