Can we just talk about this scene in BPRD where Hellboy pulls Abe out of a chamber where he was being subjected to nightmarish experiments, and HB’s first thought is not “wow that must’ve been rough you should just sit down and take it easy for a bit” or even “hey man, let’s get you some pants” but rather “bro you need a ham sandwich asap.” 

Hellboy’s got his priorities straight. Ham first, pants later. As it should be.
